Prescription Medication in SI

Hi everyone!

I have searched far and wide, but I can not find an contact email for the Ministry of Health & Medical Service. Does anyone happen to have their email address?

Or for anyone that has brought in prescription medication, do I need a personal certificate from your government to bring them in?

I currently take Zoloft (sertraline) and Ambien (zolpidem). I have the prescription and doctor's note that explain each medication and its purpose.

Thank you for any assistance!

Smart Traveller (Australia) website recommends contacting their embassy. On the off chance you’re in Australia, here’s a link to the Solomon Islands embassy in Australia.

I bring in all sorts of medication all the time for worst case scenario.. not once have I ever been checked or asked about it and that also includes transiting through Australia... I think you'll be fine..

I personally don't know these medications but why do you believe you need documentation? I lived there for 20 years and brought my medication in every few months. The only time I had documents with me, just a letter from my doctor, was leaving Australia with six months supply but I was not questioned when I got to Honners.

You will be totally fine. I bring in similar meds all the time in large quantities to last me months. I just have an escript no docs note. They are concerned with any food you bring in and more importantly anything you may have to pay taxes on i.e. bulk equipment. Meds will be no issue at all
