SPOILERS I made my friends watch Space Dandy. Here's our collective tier list, baby. Please share your thoughts on placements.
The perfect tier was all 3 of ours favourite. We settled on leaving all 3 up for a perfect 'serious' episode, a perfect comedic focused episode, and a perfect relationship focused episode.
The dandychotomy is crazy. We couldn't decide where to place it as I didn't care for it all too much, while my friends loved it.
The [?] tier was because they straight up forgot the book episode (ironic) and the laika episode is so hard to judge because the first 2 thirds are so good and feel entirely separate from the machinians really.
The bottom is self explanatory, I feel. Not my dandy, baby.

It's fitting the caption broke for that one. The rest was something like "They're calling it the worst episode ever, baby" Needed like a radioactive exclusion zone for it too.

I just cannot respect the subject of the musicals. And the rest of episode is so so many played and tired tropes in one episode, it's boring.
Even then, I enjoy lonely nights much more than viva all. It doesn't have many redeeming qualities, and none that other episodes don't do better.

While I agree there are better episodes and the highschool setting is...weird, to say the least (I believe Dandy respects the law, baby) I do think the fact that it's so full of tropes is what does it justice
It's just so intentionally over the top and dumb. To me, it's one of the funniest episodes for that reason. I'm a sucker for all things musical though, so when a show even has a musical episode I'm stoked.
Hell, I even watched Healer Girl, an anime about the third type of medicine: Music (the other two are Eastern and Western). Every episode was a musical episode

I liked musical one strictly cause the final song won me over. Your list is pretty dandy but we dont see boobie to boobie
