Taking care of spells

Hi everyone!

First time poster, long time in the practice.

I was lucky enough to be raised Wiccan and have a great understanding of spells, I just haven’t found myself in this situation before. Unfortunately I lost my mum a few years ago, and while moving the last of our things from the family home I came across one of her spells that she had bound to a house ornament. It definitely doesn’t feel right to “get rid of it” so to speak, but I also can’t read the energy and don’t know how to best care for it. I don’t necessarily want to feed it, it’s not my spell and i don’t know the reasoning or how she did it. i don’t want to undo it, my mother was extremely powerful and very intentional with her magick. It’s a beautiful crystal piece that she must of had since before I was born, what I would like to do at the moment is to set it somewhere nice and mend and finish putting together the pendant she had clipped to it, so it can be a finished piece.

I don’t want to overstep on a spell, especially a binding that I haven’t learnt to read yet. Not being able to ask has definitely made the situation more challenging but nothing I’m not willing to understand more. Any recommendations? Has anyone ran into something like this before?
