Just harvested. What do you guys think. Too early? Too late? What amount do you guys think this is

I finally got around to testing both these lights yesterday. I originally bought the evo3 for my new 2x4 tent instead of the SE4500 but once I got my PhotoBio PAR meter and tested the far edges of the tent I knew I needed more light. I started looking at the IONBEAM S16 supplement light strips and realized I would need at least 6 strips minimum to cover what I’d like and to do that I’d have to buy 2 sets which would cost $180 which didn’t seem logical when I can buy a whole new light fixture (SE4500) for $40 more. Plus I don’t know how much ppfd those strips even output so it was a gamble I didn’t want to take.

I ordered the 2026 SE4500 and I only tested dead center and the left side wall since that’s where the biggest ppfd drop occurs. I leveled my tripod at both 12” and 18” away from the light and took the readings with the tent fully closed.

The build quality on both lights is nice but the EVO3 is far better in construction and material. It weighs twice as much as the SE4500 while being much shorter. The SE4500 is very lightweight for its size which is nice for hanging but it feels fragile compared to the EVO3. That won’t matter much tho once you have it hanging in the tent unless you plan on moving it around where the chance of dropping it or banging it against something is greater. The SE4500 also gets hotter, both the driver and fixture itself compared to the EVO3.

Note, each level represents the percentage of power being used so 10 is 10% and 80 is 80% intensity. Also, the SE4500 controller starts at 11 (11%) whereas the EVO3 starts at 10 (10%) so that’s the only difference when testing each level between the two. The SE4500 controller also allows for micro adjustments so you can select any range between 11-100 whereas the EVO3 has fixed levels in 10% intervals so you can’t get it to 63% for example, it’ll have to be either 60% or 70%.

Hey fellow growmies, growing this Ethos Banana Daddy RBX2 on week 1 bloom (?) (currently on day 28 from sprout) in a Spider Farmer 3x3 under an SF4000. She went untrained aside from tucking and has 10 “secondary” tops. Outward growth has been vigorous, with a very mild defoliation of mainly lower canopy. Preflower stretch started maybe 5-6 days ago with progressive upward growth on the main.

Genetics and current growth are aligning and it’s apparent this girl is going to be pretty squat and bushy, with tight internodal spacing. SF4000 holds a pretty even 650-700ppfd across the top canopy. My question is the squatty stature, and Indica fan leaves are covering all of the lower growth and tertiary growth. I don’t mind larf but would also like to avoid if possible.

I have 2 unused, older 100 watt VEG and BLOOM (blurple) lights laying around. Would it be beneficial to set these lights up maybe on the left and right side on the ground facing the underside of the canopy to promote lower growth? Or just let the larf grow and bin it if it’s not worthwhile.

(Plant and pot will go on the floor once she grows a bit taller into a higher PPFD zone)

Drinking 3 gallons of water almost daily now. It's by far the longest auto I've grown and close to the biggest.

I’d appreciate your opinion—does my plant look okay for day 21? A few days ago, I accidentally messed up the water pH, but it seems the plant has recovered well. It does have some burns, as you can see in the photo. This is my first time growing.

What’s next ?

Converted my sauna into a grow tent 😛 .. currently growing 3 Death Bubba plants

This is day 8 since sprouting . First time growing indoors , im not really sure what to expect. Im worried theyre not growing fast and im missing something.

I have micro , grow, bloom . Aswell as big bud and bud candy to feed them once they get big enough to transplant into fabric pots.
