SteamOS stuck on logo when opening games

Please PLEASE I really need to fix this problem!!

My legion with SteamOS gets stuck on the spinning logo when I try to open a game, even though the game starts because I can hear the music of the main page!!

I tried to disable the "usa as a wakeup movie" option since it was a common problem but it didn't fix anything!!

Anyone having the same issue?

Atm I've noticed this problem on Warframe and Dark Souls 3, the others are opened correctly

did you try a force restart? a normal restart? (not just turn off and on like actually press restart)

where are your games installed? if on SD card then try reinserting it

Yes I restarted it. Also the games are on the console and not om the SD

do a force restart and then verify game files for both the games

make sure you update both the games and any proton versions if they're queued up and also try selecting different proton versions (i'm sure you can look up what works best with warframe and dark souls)

if you have any decky stuff that you think might interact with the games or the steam overlay then disable those before restarting

i'm just guessing here and none of this is a guaranteed fix it's just what i would try if it happened to me

Have you used decky lsfg vk? That shitty plugin ruined all my games and caused this behavior and nothing helped, so I had to reinstall steamos and wipe all data

Only tried regular decky plugin for home customization

Also one point: this issue occurs only in gaming mode, in desktop it's alright

it seems like the issue might not be with the games themselves if sound plays fine; have you checked for any recent updates or compatibility issues with SteamOS?
