The issue has been fixed; just log out from the CDPR launcher and reject telemetry.

Yeah, uuuh... They messed up something big time. It's just just shaders compiling, updating the engine must've had some side effects they missed. This happens on pcs with much higher specs as well..

Exact same issue on steam deck as well.

I just turned off telemetry & logged out of CDPR and it completely fixed it on the Deck.

Huh weird. I installed and played it last night with no issues. SteamOS and 9070.

I'm using the following settings on my Bazzite PC with a 9070 XT GPU, Ryzen 7 5700x CPU, on a 4K TV. Gane set to 1440p. Proton 11.
I'm having a great experience with the following settings:
Ray Tracing/Path Tracing Off Upscaler is up to you, I set it to Balanced or Quality Frame Generation On, frames to generate 1 Nvidia HairWorks Off Sharpening Off Motion Blur On, intensity 5 Blur On Bloom On Depth of Field On Chromatic Aberration On Vignetting On Light Shafts On Camera lens effects On Number of Background Characters High Screen Space Shadows On Terrain Quality High Water Quality High Foliage Visibility Range High Grass Density Medium Texture Quality Ultra+ Detail level Ultra
For me, it's buttery smooth! Give it a try, hope it helps!

Very strange. I run it with 4k and 120 Hz on Ultra. I cant get Raytracing or Pathtracing to work in linux though. In windows its creating all sorts of problems. Haven’t tried the hotfix yet though.

I’m experiencing the same on Ubuntu with 5070 615 open kernel drivers. I did find XeSS to be less jitter but overall the experience is just bad

Yeah, the remaster is straight broken. Frame pacing is abysmal even when my GPU is only at 70-80% utilization and my CPU is sub 30%

It's probably still compiling shaders in the background. At least this was the case for the NG version. Let the game run like this for a while and then restart it.

brother you can just not say anything if you have no idea what you're talking about. This issue has NOTHING to do with shader compilation. It's clearly an issue with camera movement/ camera stutter.

i understand the shader compilation, but in this case the stutter/jittering timing too consistent

I had this issue on my Steam Deck Oled, it felt like scenery had a choppy appearance. Someone on Reddit advised to logout of the CD Project Red account in the main menu and disable telemetry, and somehow it managed to fix things for me
