help wanted Try to install steam os
Try to install steam os on my pc. Everything goes great until the system asks to reboot. It then reboots into windows. How can I get it to reboot into the newly installed steam?

That’s what I had to do. That should be fixed in an update at some point but you can use a usb for WiFi ect until then

Disabled secure boot. Not sure how to select which drive to install steam os. Just went thru the steps on screen when prompted to install steam os and wipe device and reboot. Then it reboots back into windows

There is no SteamOS installer built for your pc. You are using a disk image built to restore steam decks to factory state. Given that, it will wipe out a drive (and assume there is only one drive) and install SteamOS there. If you want to control which drive that is, you need to physically disconnect all other drives.

Go into BIOS and change the boot drive priority
