Android app (also applies to Google TV) was updated to 1.3.28 yesterday, with fixes for Steam Controller support.

Are you saying you're still having Steam Controller problems on Android on 1.3.28?

Update: I updated my Android Steam Link to latest and it worked just as well as iOS version! No crashes on game start, occasional disconnect for a few seconds while it's booting, but when in game it works as expected! Thanks for the heads up.
