transitioning My Halloween costume for my university Halloween party
I am going to be her for my university Halloween party. I am so excited ! She was my favourite anime character as a kid. I kinda look like her and the HRT was extremely generous to me. She gave me the silhouette shape to pull this off . This is going to be so much fun š¤©

I texted him and here is what happened
This is a follow-up for the post I made a week ago: he gave me his number but..
I did feel unsettled because of the 'card'. After thinking it over for a week, I thought it couldn't hurt to see what happens but I had no expectations. At first he said "I gave you my card because I thought you were pretty and wanted to date you". However, as expected, he gave two guesses about who I was and neither was correct. Clearly he was just casting a wide net and see who would respond. He said it's hard to meet women so he decided to try something different.
At some point, when he realized that I was unimpressed that he couldn't figure out who I was, he sent a link to his dick pics lol. He said that girls who were hard to please would be saying "yes daddy" after seeing his d. That's when I told him that maybe he should have asked women to put their number in his phone and that I found him to be arrogant and quick tempered.
This chat is what happened after. It seems that my complete dismissal of his d really set him off š
I am glad that I dodged a bullet. I can't imagine him not becoming violent if he ever finds out that I am trans.

What does the man of your dreams look like to you?
Okay Iāll go through both looks and personality.
As for personality, I like someone whoās really deep minded and philosophical like I am haha because I can go on those deep kinda conversations for hours. Also of course the usual things, being a gentlemen, treating me nicely. And Iām a very outgoing adventurous and social person, so itād be nice to meet someone else like that:) also bonus points if heās nerdy about physics and science hehe, I love to geek out on that and stuff about the universe.
As for looks, I like a guy with either the dad bod kinda build or muscular but skinny and toned not all jacked like a bodybuilder lol. Also, I made out with a guy for the first time a month ago (was my first time in general with a guy ever!) and I discovered I loveeee facial hair on a guy. I love when guys have the mustache and the hair around their chin and jawline š»š„µ and feeling it when kissing just hits different for me lol. And they donāt have to lol, but I honestly think curly hair / a perm looks sexy on men too.
Anyway, thatās my dream man š©āā¤ļøāšāšØ still longing to meet him lol, but one day!!!

transitioning I believe that cis women who assume that we are lesbians just because we are mtf are creeps.
this behaviour is super creepy and disgusting, what do you think? did you experience this?
I find cis women to be creepier and creepier.

post-transition Being a Tomboy as a Trans Woman Can Make Passing Harder Than You Think
I feel like this is unpopular advice, but if passing is genuinely important to you, you cannot always approach presentation the exact same way a cis woman can
A cis woman can throw on menās jeans, a huge hoodie, no makeup, a baseball cap, and deliberately masculinize herself and still usually be read as female because people are picking up on a hundred other sexed cues. A trans woman, especially early in transition or if sheās already somewhat androgynous, may not have that same margin for error yet
And I see women get frustrated because theyāre consistently being misgendered while also intentionally choosing clothes, hair, grooming, and styling that obscure virtually every feminine cue they have. At some point you have to be willing to experiment
Wear the feminine outfit. Shape your brows. Learn what makeup actually flatters your face instead of deciding āmakeup doesnāt work on meā after three attempts. Try different hairstyles. Figure out your proportions. Wear jewelry. Pay attention to silhouettes. None of this means you need to become a hyperfeminine caricature of yourself, and obviously femininity is not what makes someone a woman. But presentation absolutely affects how strangers sex you
I also think, for some trans women, the āIām just a tomboyā thing can become armor. Dressing femininely feels vulnerable because now youāre actually trying. If you try and still get misgendered, that hurts more than being able to tell yourself you werenāt trying anyway. So you retreat into oversized masculine clothes and act like caring about passing would somehow make you shallow
But you might genuinely be surprised by what happens when you give yourself permission to try.
You may think you ācould never passā when you have never actually seen yourself with flattering hair, properly applied makeup, shaped brows, clothes cut for your body, and a presentation designed to emphasize the feminine features you already have
And yes, once you consistently pass, you often have much more freedom to play with androgyny or dress like a tomboy without it changing how people perceive you. But getting there can require learning femininity first
You do not have to dress femininely. You do not have to wear makeup. You do not even have to care about passing
But if passing *is* something you desperately want, stop treating effort like betrayal. Experiment. Give femininity a genuine chance. You might be much closer than you think

He's everything I needed
He and I were hanging out and I asked if I can do a dab and he prepared it for me, so I took it and it was the biggest dab I have ever done and I already have a very sensitive cough reflex so I was coughing so much I felt extremely dizzy. I was coughing in winy tune and he immediately sprung to assist me. I ended up on the floor and he continued to assist me.
Here's the cute part. I said "I'm sorry I'm a big baby" and then he says "You're my baby" and I just felt so cared for. I rarely ever feel that way. It made me wanna cry of happiness. I love him.
Trans guys do it better, girls.

How Do I Stop Letting Men's Rejections Rob Me of the Joy of Solitude?
I really don't want a relationship with a man. I'm a loner by nature and don't like people intruding on my solitude. I've realized that the reason I sometimes yearn for a relationship is that I can't stand the thought of not being chosen by anyone.
The fact that most men automatically dismiss me because I'm trans bothers me and inflames my feelings of worthlessness. I was abused growing up, so I struggle with valuing myself. When I get rejected, I take it as a judgment of who I am. So I feel like I need affirmation that I'm desirable.
But I don't want a man, and I especially don't want to give men the power to appraise me like some sort of commodity. I've seen how some men derive gleeful pleasure from harshly rejecting a trans woman to feel secure in their masculinityāand that ain't happening with me.
There are things I like about myself, particularly my imagination. I feel comfortable spending long stretches of time by myself, so it pisses me off when that nagging voice says I need a man to affirm me. How do I make it stop?

OH HELL NO!
He's like Jason Voorhees or Keith Richards he just won't go away š
UPDATE: Holy shit he is a pedo and a groomer. The girl who posted this over at r/MtF tried to contact me and she is UNDERAGE. I know she's underage because I looked at her profile and in one of her recent comments she said she can't get HRT where she lives because she's underage.
UPDATE #2: She got my message that he's a predator and to warn others she knows.

post-transition I guess Iām privileged and tone deaf
Iām mostly stealth and got shunned on the trans subreddit cause I vented about passing and getting attention from men that goes nowhere cause 90% of them reject me when I tell them Iām trans. I know I should be grateful for my privilege but dating is still tough. š¢
Where are you ladies finding decent men without outing yourselves?

Boyfriend said he has a genital preference
Sooo my boyfriend told me he 'probably' has a genital preference but shut down when I asked him what it was and a minute later said 'I don't know.' He has never has sex with a cis woman and im worried he'll leave me the moment he finds a cis girl that is interested in him lol. Lowkey just needed to vent but also kinda seeking advice?

post-transition Feeling odd
I led an adventurous interesting life for most of my adult hood and would have friends who knew my business and those who didnāt but I would usually clue people in at some point. Certainly all my close friends (some of whom were from before I transitioned or when I was newly transitioned).
Well now Iāve been in suburbia for 10 years with my husband and especially since becoming a full time mom 6 years ago I have friends Iāve made through my child where they are close to family in that we have known each other for a few years or more, our kids have remained friends even going off too different elementary schools , we have each other over for dinner or other parties and I think I know they know but we have never talked about it. I do not lie about giving birth and share we used a surrogate. And I donāt join in on fertility talk. I kind of want to clear the air. But maybe thatās naive?

Sometimes I just want to look soft pretty
I have pretty structured features, so I get compliments on my looks, but a lot of the time i just want a softer beauty. My cis friends donāt rly understand what I mean by it, but I feel like the emphasis on being āpassableā is centered around softness. So even though I do pass and am considered to be pretty, I still sometimes wish for a rounder face. Ik iām being greedy but iām sure yall get what im saying

How difficult is dating as a trans girl?
Im 15, pre-everything and I see all my friends finding boyfriends and talking about romance and I just feel so divorced from the whole thing. In the 4 years Ive been out no one has ever had any interest in me, and I feel like straight guys only ever see me as another guy. I get really jealous of my friends and sometimes I feel like I'll never find romantic love. I guess its not that necessary, since I have plenty of platonic love, but I still really want it. Im extroverted and have lots of guys friends, so its not like im not trying. Im starting DIY very soon, so I assume thatll help. How hard is dating as a trans girl and does anyone have any advice?

A guy asked me to be his girlfriend
And I said yes!!! There's no way he could have expected I would stumble upon his post here about it, but I've been lurking in this sub for a hundred years and read a post the other day that was extremely familiar and it was the cutest thing I've ever seen. Serendipitous!
It's probably super corny and maybe inappropriate to make a sneaky follow-up post in response to his, but his was well received, and the sentiment was to encourage this little community not to give up, which is something I did a long time ago. Turns out I would rather be alone than settle for an abusive chaser and so for the last 7ish years I decided I would just be alone and learn to accept it, until a recent little boost of motivation to try again on the hellscape that is "the apps", and I'm so fucking glad I did!
I'm in my mid 30's, came out at 16, started HRT at 20, I've been around and living this life for basically as long as I can remember and this thing with this guy that is happening in my life right now has been just like an absolutely unobtainable fantasy to me. I won't mush and gush too much, but it's been almost one month since our first date and it turns out he's a real one! They really do exist!!! I feel so unbelievably lucky. He's so sweet and he makes me feel like just a normal fucking girl, and I think for the first time in my life I'm getting to a point where I can get close to someone and kinda let the walls down a little bit, stop hyperfocusing on the fact that I am trans and just be an authentic person in a relationship with another person.
To echo his post, don't give up! If an awkward weirdo like me can find a nice guy then holy hell there might really be someone for everyone. I'm gonna keep trying not to fuck this one up because I really really like this guy, but gosh he makes it too easy! It's still surreal and too soon to tell, but I think I might have found my person. Pretending I don't want him to see this! ā”
