Here is why I think you should Intern at Pehchaan The Street School
In today’s busy world where almost everyone is in nearly in survival mode to find the best for themselves, there are people who simply can’t afford to do so. Education which is a birth right isn’t accessible to them and the very essence of being a human being is the humanity we carry.
Sure we need to fill our own cups but certainly we all know that we are privileged enough to help students become the person they aspire to be. Whether they want to grow up to become engineers, designers, business owners or literally anything. You might be on the path to become who so ever you have aspired to be. Maybe you are preparing for a competitive exam or study abroad but, the sole reason you are set on this journey is because you know the directions and steps to reach your goal.
Now imagine being born in a household that just can’t afford quality education and you are lost trying to figure out how to become a doctor.
Doesn’t sound like conventional right?
Sadly, this is the reality of thousands of students and the least we can do in the name of ‘giving back to the society’ is volunteer, work, and donate to and for a non-profit organization that has productively been working for these young, innocent and aspirational smiles for more than 10 years.
Pehchaan The Street School is a Delhi-NCR based NGO Started in 2015 to help underprivileged students get access to quality education and currently has 1600+ students enrolled under its curriculum.
Currently they are hiring interns to work for them and contribute to the non-profit while adding positives to their resume. You can earn an internship certification and letter of recommendation (based on eligibility) and grow in your career while giving back to the society.
I interned at Pehchaan The Street School as a content writer and had the literal best experience while working.
It wasn’t just about content submission but also becoming part of a family that has been running over a decade now. It was really a redirection and helped me understand the importance of education and learning. I’m more than grateful that I got to intern at Pehchaan The Street School and will always consider myself a part of it.
You can literally be a part of this meaningful organization too!

Looking for students' experiences with study drugs (anonymous
Hey there!
I work for a austrian magazin as a journalist and I am writing an article about study drugs.
I'd love to hear about why you started, how it affected your studying, your health or your everyday life, and how you think about it now, whether your experience was positive, negative or somewhere in between. I'm also curious if you've noticed it being common at your university.
Everything stays completely anonymous. I won't publish your username or any details that could identify you, and I'm happy to share how your answer would be used before publication.

My grandfather passed away and I can’t even go home to say goodbye💔
I honestly don’t know how to deal with this right now
My grandfather passed away and I’m sitting here in different country n I can’t even go home because of my training and visa situation the hardest part is that I’m here today because of him and my family they are the reason I got this far in life and without them I would probably still be stuck somewhere with no idea where my life was going for so long I had this one simple dream in my mind that once I got a job I would send my first salary to my mother’s account and tell her to arrange a big dinner for everyone my whole family to sit together and I wanted to tell them that whatever I am today is because of them i kept telling myself that once i started earning I would finally be able to give something back to the people who did so much for me
But now my grandfather is gone and I can’t even be there when he is being buried i feel so selfish for being here trying to build my career when the person who helped me get here is no longer in this world and I can’t stand beside him one last time ik death is Allah’s will n i am not questioning that but I can’t stop thinking about why I kept waiting for the right time why did I think I had more time to make him proud im also scared of what people will think maybe they will say I chose my career over my family but nobody knows how badly I wanted to be there or how much this man meant to me
I just wanted to get my first salary and make everyone happy while he was still alive now I don’t even know what to say to my grandmother when I call them i feel helpless guilty and heartbroken all at once and I don’t know how to make peace with the fact that I might not be there to say goodbye
I don’t know if I’m looking for advice or just need to get this off my chest but I really don’t know how to deal with this pain right now

American University Student Looking to Interview Someone About Their Culture For 10 Minutes.
Hi, I'm an American University student who needs to do a interview with someone from a different country for an assignment. The interview should take about 10 minutes, and the questions aren't personal. I'll attach a copy/paste of the questions below so you can see what I'd be asking beforehand. The interview will be recorded (voice only) on discord or another similar platform like zoom whichever you are comfortable with.
I'd really appreciate anyone who would be willing to help me out. Thank you!
- Please tell me a little bit about your cultural background and where you grew up.
- What do you identify as the most important or distinct practices/traditions of your culture?
- How does your culture typically view family roles or gender roles?
- What are some things people in your culture do that outsiders might misunderstand?
- What’s considered respectful or disrespectful in conversation or behavior in the culture?
- Explain what cultural values or norms these behaviors express?
- What role does religion play in your culture, and in what way, if any, does it influence daily life and communication?
- What do you wish more people understood about your culture?
- What advice would you give to someone who wants to ensure that they develop healthy relationships with those from your culture?

Wrote about my college experience in the 90s and it sparked a lot of conversation. Has anything changed?
When I arrived at the University of Richmond in 1997, I was not prepared for what I found: the frat boy culture, homogeneity, gender segregation, and sheltered population of “the University of Rich Kids”
Finally wrote about it after avoiding it for a long time.
In many ways I was an insufferable jerk and more annoying than any of my classmates…. Except maybe my classmate Kash Patel… (!)
I wonder if my experience now feels like a relic to current college students or recent grads, but I suspect maybe little has changed?

I put together a free Microsoft Learn path to go from "what is AI?" to building your first agent
I'm a third-year IT student and I kept seeing people ask where to start with AI without paying for a course. Microsoft Learn has a ton of free material, but it's scattered, so I organized the best parts into one plan in a sensible order:
Prompting with Copilot
Core AI and ML concepts
Responsible AI
Azure AI services (vision, speech, language)
Building a gen-AI chat app
Building agents in Copilot Studio
Prep for the AI-901 certification
It's free and self-paced, and you get a Learn badge when you finish. Roughly 4 weeks at a relaxed pace.
I'm part of the Microsoft Learn student community, so I'm biased. If anything feels too hard, too easy, or out of order, tell me and I'll fix it. Feedback is the main reason I'm posting.

What is your process after Turnitin flags an assignment?
I had an assignment last week that I wrote myself, but Turnitin showed a higher similarity percentage than I expected. When I went through the report, I saw that some common phrases, definitions and standard terms were highlighted.
I also checked the same assignment with Originality ai and a few lines were highlighted there too. I did not try to change everything just to lower the score, I went back to those parts and rewrote them in my own words. I kept the original meaning, changed the sentence structure and checked the sources again where needed. After that, I read the whole assignment once more to make sure it still sounded like my own writing.
For those who had an assignment flagged by Turnitin, what process do you follow afterward? Do you rewrite the highlighted parts yourself, check the sources or discuss the report with your professor?

Finding hackathon teammates is still done in random WhatsApp groups, so I built a board for it. Roast it.
Every hackathon goes the same way: “need 1 frontend dev” gets posted in five WhatsApp groups, nobody knows who can actually build, and half the teams form the night before.
So I built CrewForge:
Hackathons sync daily from Unstop. About 75 open coding hackathons right now. Business-plan contests and quizzes are filtered out, and each card shows the deadline, team size and mode.
Post your team with the roles you’re missing (frontend, ML, design…).
Solo? Apply to a team with your role and a short note. The team owner accepts or declines, and gets your contact only if you choose to share it.
No real names or emails are shown. Everyone appears as an anonymous builder handle, and your GitHub or portfolio is optional.
Free, and open to every college.
It’s early, and very few teams are on it yet, which is exactly why I’m posting. If you’re heading into a hackathon in the next few weeks, put your team up and see who applies.
What I’d love from you:
Would you actually use this over WhatsApp or Discord?
What would make you trust a stranger as a teammate?
What’s broken? Tell me.
