Episode 361 Whatever happened there...?

Episode 360 was about the girl in Kissimmee that went missing. It sounded like a two part episode, I'm pretty sure it was clear that "tune in next week" was the ending. Last week I did not get a episode 361. Today I have episode 362.

I am listening to the free feed through a podcast app. No episode 361 seems to exist. Does anyone know what happened to 361? Do you have to subscribe to get it?

Yeah, I looked at that. I like S&S, I've been listening forever, and I don't care about all the "he should be cancelled" drama that seems to swirl around him. But I go to the site and its $200 a year. For context that's more than I pay for HBO Max, more than I pay for MLB.tv. I mean MLB gives me every baseball game all year for less than what Mike want's for a 90 minute weekly podcast.

Obviously it's worth it to some people, but I think I would get a Shudder subscription or something if I wanted to spend the same money for yet another subscription.

I clicked join from an episode, your comment made me go back through the main page, $200 is middle tier, there is a $100 and a $300 tier. The $200 is the default if you click "join" from an inner page. Still seems like a lot for a single podcast.

The join yearly middle subscription which is what looks like is the video option? In his newest episode he mentioned moving video to the lowest tier but the website join page doesn't reflect that maybe he just hasn't updated the info. Even then 100 dollars a year for the lowest tier is a lot.

Ohhhhhhh. It’s $79.00 for the year just on Apple Podcasts if you have an iPhone. I’m contemplating getting a month or 2 to catch up on the subscriber only episodes rather than pay for the whole year to get a few at a time…. If that makes sense

Alas I do not have an iPhone. I was considering getting a month too and catching up but it's pretty expensive on the website the lowest tier is 10 dollars a month middle is 20 top is 30. (Yearly being 100, 200 and 300.) Honestly if he had 5 dollars for just all audio episodes without ads I'd probably even get and stay subscribed to that. So far I've listened to every episode you can on Spotify. He also seems pretty dismissive of people thinking the prices are high which is off putting.

There are a lot of coverage of Madeline Soto's case minus Mike's comments, from top of my head I think This is Monsters did a solid job, episode published on 17th March this year "This man groomed a child.."

He put the pt.2 behind a paywall as a Plus episode. From my experience the Plus episodes do not make it to the main feed. It’s pretty lame. If you want the best version of this case watch the EWU coverage of this case on YouTube … wayyy better with actual police footage of the parents and the dad trying to play stupid. Cheers

It’s a two-parter, and the second part was released as a Plus episode so should be available on the regular feed in a couple weeks (or however long it usually takes for Plus episodes to come out).

Thanks, I'm going to wait. I live in Florida and somehow don't recall this case. It's so rare to find an interesting true crime story I haven't heard I'll wait and enjoy the podcast wrap up.
