Dissonant Death Metal "Zigurat" by Mico.

I absolutely love the music -- the epic song structure, the rampant dissonance throughout, the intensity counterpointed by various types of bridges and breakdowns... ...and the bleakness in particular. But the endlessly screeching vox are a distraction for me. I'd have lowered him 50% in the mix. (The low-end backing vox are perfect.)
I *do* highly recommend any fans of disso give this a thorough listen. This is going on a lot of folks' AOTY Top 10 list, I think.

I would agree with all of the above! Well said. I was able to listen to the whole album without much fatigue from the vox though, I think this song is a bit harsher than their average. That's where I feel like they are similar to END

Not tech death, but an awesome basically unknown band/album. Probably the only combo of grind/metalcore with dissonant black metal I've ever heard, except maybe WAKE? The guy doing the deep manly caveman growls is the same one who did vocals on the first Cave Sermon album.

Serpent Column or Plebeian Grandstand sound a bit like that combo

Wouldn't really call it grind/metalcore personally but I suppose genres are often open to interpretation! Agreed that it's not quite tech death but I dont know which community would be better to post it to haha. I also love Wake!

Played with these dudes at mathcore index fest the year this album dropped, absolutely killer band live even on a tiny ass stage.
