That is a thing of beauty!!! How do you like the Dragontail Mizuchi? I’ve been looking at it for a while but haven’t pulled the trigger.

Here’s my unsolicited $0.02 on the Mizuchi. It’s exceptional for bead heads, but definitely get the soft tip sections for unweighted flies.

That’s good advice, I like to throw kebari so I’m guessing the soft tip would definitely be needed?

It's nice! I use it in smaller streams where I don't know what I'll encounter water wise. That 8-11 ft zoom comes in clutch.

Very good to know. I have a 10ft and a 12ft currently but that would be great as an easy “go anywhere” rod when I’m hiking and come upon a tight spot I want to throw a line. I was wondering how it feels with the variable zoom. Does it effect the play at all?

It feels good for a zoom rod. They also sell a soft action section that makes the action more slow and full flex. I have the soft section set but haven't used it yet bc I like the original action so much.

I was thinking that when I filled my roll it would relieve the pressure to get more rods. Haha. Nope! I figured out I could fit two per slot facing opposite directions. I’m back to buying more rods, and the roll just keeps getting fatter.🙂

Where do you get parts.

I usually order spare tip sets when I buy rods. Couldn't do that on the Tenkarabum rods.

Bought 2, the lillian tip was stuck and of course I broke it. Been thinking 🤔, When I buy my next one I will get 2 tips for good measure. If you don't have tips at time of purchase it will be a no go for me. "Waiting till the cows cone home"
