Some micros on my first tiny brushy creek experience

Funny enough I had more luck on this little random creek than any of the major world class rivers around me. I really want to get into these super tiny creeks. My wetfly backcountry is definitely too big (10 ft). I was thinking the Wasatch Snub Nose IV Ultra would be good for this. I feel like some of the other 8ft+ options would be too much. Any advice?

The Snub Nose IV would be a fine choice I bet. I personally haven't fished anything under 7ft and I fish some pretty darn tight streams.

I believe this one was between 4-8 feet wide, pretty small!

What’s your thoughts for the level line for the snub nose? I was thinking a 5 foot #4 level line perhaps?

Depends on wind and weight of the fly. Anywhere between 3 and 4 can work well.

I’ll be using mostly small weightless kebari and don’t expect much wind in the brush. I decided to go with the Moonlit Platinum Brookie Short Furled Leader. I think this will work be the best choice as I noticed some fish were spooked by the high vis line.

I mainly fish small water and will use my Dragontail foxfire or Tanuki headwaters. The Tanuki is a bit heavy on the wallet, but it's worth it in my opinion.

Def look into Wasatch. Reuben the owner is rad af.

I tried Tiny Tenkara when I wanted to fish tight streams and I hate it.

I ended up getting the Wasatch Snub Nose IV with Moonlit platinum Short Furled Leader. We’ll see how it rips when everything gets here!
