SEC Dressing At Big Ten Games?
Does this happen at other Big Ten schools?

I mean in fairness it’s not just SEC, a lot of ACC schools dress like that at tailgates too

This has been a thing with frat boys at football games since as long as I can remember. Seen it at Iowa and Iowa State too
Why downvote? It’s just true

It’s def a frat thing but I’ve never seen it anywhere in the B10 besides Penn State

I remember it was much bigger at Iowa State than at Iowa and I bet that had to with playing Texas schools

The Greek system at Iowa State is also much bigger and more prominent than at Iowa.

Every Fraternity heavy B1G school leans into it. Illinois, Purdue, Michigan, Ohio State and Indiana.

The B1G is a historical Midwestern conference, the game day traditions regionally have been different. Penn State is a Mid-Atlantic/Northeast school where this style of dress formerly was widespread, men were expected to wear blazers and ties to games. It was never out of style fully, maybe not favored but it's making a comeback

I wonder if I sound this dumb when I yell at clouds and tell kids to get off my lawn.

I'm completely indifferent to the topic.
But I find it hilarious to write a letter bitching about a "problem" and then the picture you choose for your article doesn't display the problem at all.
Is there anybody in that picture wearing something fancier than a hoodie? There might be a red polo on the right hand side, but I can't say for sure.

Nope. I have some Penn State buddies and it’s always confused the shit out of me when they whip out the button down and sweater for a game.

Once it gets cold enough you won't have to worry about that. You're dressing for survival half the year.

Never heard of any of this.
It sounds like something from some corners of the internet.

People like dressing in a preppy style at football games? Color me shocked.
How it always used to be until people became comfortable looking like slobs.

It’s because New Jersey exports so many kids to SEC schools now, all the Jersey Penn state kids see their friends dressing up like that on social media and copy cat.
