At the fine age of 34 years old I am diagnosed bipolar2. I basically have been functioning on very little rest in high stress environments for the last ten years and it finally drove me to insanity. Thus was blessed with a prescription of Vraylar and Doxepin 10mg. The doxepin basically forces me to sleep, I guess sleep is really important for us bipolar folks, idk.

How exactly does this relate to MW would you ask? 💅🏽✨This is the exciting part hehe. The Doxepin gave me the most lucid nightmare I’ve ever fucking had. And it was all in MW. The past several years I’ve been sleeping in “bursts” so 2-3 hours on 2-3 hours off from 9p-7a (yay! breastfeeding and working) So MW has been really spotty for me the last several years. I definitely got a full night of sleep but it felt like I lived there a week in mallworld time. I usually don’t remember the fine details like objects on a shelf or facial recognition. I woke up, remembering everything. every little detail. I immediately told my significant other when I woke up so I wouldn’t forget.

IRL I’m currently doing a play at the community theatre and am in most of the scenes and my mom was in town visiting. I disclosed the diagnosis to her on this visit. As soon as I fall asleep, me, my SO in my parents are on a weird ass MW “plane” headed to “Vegas” so me and my IRL cast mates could headline a show 😂
We get to the hotel, which is a giant circular hotel tower that is all glass. I’ve dreamed of the specific hotel before. There’s a few of them in MW. There’s a lot of conventions in this one specifically. I went to a MW head shop as soon as I got there and bought a vape pen. It was apparently laced with meth and made me lose my fucking mind alone in the hotel room. I remember I was ripping off all of my clothes, stuffing junk food in my mouth, naked in a spider like position but all of my thought thoughts were clear. I was watching myself through a third person go crazy alone in this hotel room. After what seems like hours, my parents finally come in and see me losing my mind and I’m begging them to help, they just say “pathetic” like The Simpsons principal meme and left me on the floor. For what felt like hours I was on that floor, trapped in my own body and I could not for the life of me get up and grab my phone to call my SO for help. Eventually made it out of the hotel room and I find myself hanging out with these people in this four-floor house. I can still remember the red house with black trim. And mature trees around it.

I ended up somewhere in the desert in a warehouse full of people smoking meth. When I finally got ahold of my SO he told me he was sick of my shit and that he would be taking the kids and never looking back. It felt SO real y’all 😭
Fast-forward and I’m in this giant suburban mall in the desert wandering around and trying to “adjust to my new life”. There’s tons of people, it is daylight for once. Feels like a trip to the mall circa 2017ish pre-pandemic. I’m hanging around in the back of this restaurant attached to the mall, almost like a Buca style place. This guy working as a cook tells me that he’s given my résumé to the Boss and it’s almost a guaranteed hire. The Boss, short bald dude but somehow terrifying chases me down this white hallway of the mall and says “come back kid! You’re a star. “ I run faster and his voice starts to go in slow motion and the last thing I hear is, “but you’re such a good worrrkerrr”.
I end up in the four story house again. I make out that there’s about five different people that live there right now and they split the rent and have their own adult rooms. Everyone was hanging out in the living room. Blue light from tv, a blunt going around…the usual. Then I realize that every single person there was dead in this life and they are still alive in my world, living completely different lives and they don’t know anything about the people here on earth that miss them.
There was a mother and a daughter, both Hispanic mom looked about in her 40s and the daughter looked around 10 or 12. She seemed unfazed by her mother’s recreational activities. Somehow I inherently knew that they died in 1998 in some freak accident. Then there was the stripper. She died in 2005 from an overdose. She was full of life in her room was so detailed. It had a couch a bed, pink, and blue lighting, Playboy bunny decor. Then the gamer dude. I couldn’t get any names, but I gauge that he died around 2015. He was young. Very missed by his family. Somehow, I knew all of it. I was screaming in my head “WTF ARE Y’ALL DOING?? DONT YOU KNOW THERE ARE PEOPLE ON EARTH WHO MISS YOU?? Who can’t get out of bed because they can’t touch you anymore and you’re just here kicking it??”
At this point it feels like weeks have gone by. I’m outside the house and go on a walk to the local shops and restaurants and I’m walking with a girl with long red hair who seems about my age. Maybe late 20s to early 30s. She says “I want to go to that Halloween party next week but I’m scared I’m going to get too crazy again”.

At this point I’m PISSED. I’m like bitch you’re over here talking about a Halloween party get me OUT. I woke myself up after 9-10 hours of solid sleep.

Edit: there are so many more details I have in this stream that I didn’t disclose on here because it’s a lot just writing it out 😭 I legit want to forget this dream but I don’t think I will. Writing it out always helps.

TLDR: MW/backrooms dreamer since 2010 on new meds for bipolar dreaming about dead people in vivid detail. First Mall world dream ever with facial recognition in daylight.

Hey guys!! I’ve been having Mall World dreams and dreams in similar places posted by others here for a while now and have been on this subreddit for a bit, I’m curious to know what everyone’s opinion is on what they think Mall World is or where it comes from. It’s so fascinating to me reading about everyone else’s similar experiences or worlds they visit, I’d love to hear about everyone’s theories or stories if you have any!

Last night I wound up in the office lobbies (best way I can describe). Giant lobbies to tall buildings with hallways leading to other office lobbies. After venturing through a couple I became lucid and got really excited because I was in mall world. I said it out loud “I’m in mall world!” and I knew I was dreaming. During this time I noticed a man in a business suit sitting on a bench in the corner of the lobby. He didn’t look up or even acknowledge me saying that, so I walked up to him and said to his face “hey we’re in mall world aren’t we?” And he got really uncomfortable and stood up and said “you cant be saying that” in a worried face. Shortly after I woke up. So for all those wondering about the theory of asking questions in mall world, you were right. I knew I was testing that when speaking it but didn’t care in the moment..but now know that by doing that, you will quickly exit.

A small part of a project I'm working on

Every time I dream of mall world, there are two consistent variables-

1. • I see my Twin Flame
2. • I always end up at some wooden house.

When I walk out of mall world I get taken to a wooden house almost every single time filled with people I've never seen but almost always ends up with my twin flame.

This happened in my most recent extended visit. I moved in with this faceless couple I knew from somewhere, and trusted enough to live with. It was a blonde man and a box dye red head woman, I could only see the back of their head from every angle. I was settling into my room for the night, going to bed for 3rd shift. I kept waking up and seeing my actual room, but it kept flashing back to the MW room. To the point where I was very lucid and couldn't tell which was real. This is where I got the vertigo. I felt in MW like I had to call in to work because there was no way I could even stand up. I kept falling asleep and basically just blipping out of existence for a second, and when I would come back the vertigo did as well. Once I got my bearings, I started to explore the house. All white walls, looked like a "landlord special" renovation (cover your sins with paint). Definitely a condo of some sort, it was an L shaped unit on an upper floor. The master bedroom had its own bathroom and a large closet. Then I guess i found the couples room, because before my eyes even registered they were there I screamed and slammed the door. Because how rude of me, a brand new roommate, to go snooping around. I was very embarrassed. I woke up irl very tired.

I always go to a darker-lit store that has tons of books and DVD sets, usually series like a show. I wander around and see so many things I want and I end up staying there for a good portion of my dream before I head to the restaurant

I've had this reoccurring dream lately about this place in Mallworld that's a sort of house of deviancy. I end up there with friends .I have had it 3 times now. It's always crowded, with endless rooms leading into other rooms up stairs and down, to the left and right. There is always something dark, seedy or nasty happening in each room. The vibes I get from this place is anything goes, like the Purge. It's the weird side of Mallworld, an attraction to see and experience. I always lose a friend quickly, and I am constantly trying to find the exit , navigating crowds immersed in their base desires . It's hard to get out. Infact ,once there was a line to get out when I found the end and it moved slow, almost not at all .It's dirty , dark, litter everywhere, strangely lit , massive like a an outdoor bazaar and small at the same time , like a house with endless long halls. It's actually a really disturbing place. Anyone else experience something similar to this?

Hello. I'm doing my personal research (purely of curiosity) on MW and curious to learn of people experiences in mallworld locations, specifically people living in Lithuania. Personally - in my MW dreams i'm visiting a mall which is real in my town, besides it was the first town mall in old times (oldest one), so i find it interesting visiting exactly this one. If someone could share would be very helpful :)

Somebody mentioned the book “A Wrinkle in Time” recently. I vaguely remember reading it as a kid. I didn’t understand it at all. I work in a school library and it was lying out in the open. I just finished reading it again, and wow…. I think I finally understand. Here are the main messages from the story (from my personal take):

A Wrinkle in Time

-The children are oddball heroes, have lucid dreams, OBE dreams, sleep paralysis, and one is psychic. They are future angels/starseeds.
-The children’s father works for a secret government program for higher learning (GATE vibes for sure)
-Earth is a limiting planet veiled in shadow because earthlings have mainly given into darkness
-“Witches” and Creatives (Mallworld dreamers) are “young stars” (Angels) from outer space that were chosen for an important mission- to help bring Earth out of darkness and into light.
-These chosen people can shapeshift and materialize on Earth and other planets using dream powers and time travel through other dimensions. -When they pass away, they become guardian angels. My brother is my guardian angel.
-Strong emotions can help with time travel through other dimensions (I can personally back this up)
-There’s an ancient war going on in the universe between good (light) and evil (the shadow). It’s been going on since before humanity.
-Uriel (Planet In Pleiades or possibly even someplace on Earth) is Eden aka “Paradise” aka “Heaven”
-Camazotz is Mallworld (Our possible unsettling future if humans don’t change and rely entirely on technology. The citizens that live here are NPCs or robots. They don’t have a soul.)
-Orion is an alliance constellation with beings who help us
-The “leader” of our future is a skilled hypnotist and does not have good intentions (Lucifer)
-Mallworld is run by an evil giant brain/computer aka “IT”
-“The Father” (Jesus, God) is safety and an all-knowing guide that helps you, though he can’t do it all. The true purpose is for you to learn on your own.
-The idea of submission and conforming is dangerous and a form of hypnotism (mind control). You can lose who you really are- your true personality, your soul and essence.
-Aliens can time travel. They are benevolent and powered by love, though they can’t see and it’s hard to communicate with them
-Love is the most powerful thing in the universe

Hey everyone!

I’ve been fascinated with mall world as soon as I learned about it, and I’ve been disappointed about feeling like I have never gone there.

Last night, I had a very interesting dream experience.

I was walking through a mall, but the mall reminded me a little bit of some malls from where I grew up (but also as I think of the dream layout and the mall I was in I don’t think it’s all that familiar at all). Somehow this mall felt REALLY familiar (I could swear I dreamed of it recently too)

Anyway, I was on this one floor (I think a floor below ground level or maybe ground level) and was walking around. Passing stores and people, a lot of security guards, and then after taking two or three escalators I finally got to the cafeteria and met up with someone (?) now, for some reason that part of my dream feels blocked a little. I cannot remember who I met up with or too much of the cafeteria. I have some vague memory of looking at childhood pictures of my family, especially of us and my nana (who has passed) and I think I saw some people I knew? But I remember getting up to clean our utensils at A dishwashing station of sorts.

From there I left the station and “went to work” (?), not really sure how again, but I ended up sitting inside at the front of a bar, or club or something (it was kind of brightly lit and I don’t remember music), and IDing people/making sure not too many people would come in all at once. Anyway, we’re doing our job and this one girl comes in and hands me a paper and says she doesn’t have an ID. Me and the person I’m working with are like well we can’t let you in without an ID and what are you doing walking around without one? I open the paper and it is one of MY blood test papers from a few years ago THAT I LOST and had to go back to the doctor to get. I know it was that one because I fold my medical papers in a specific way and it had the marks of being folded like that. It had my name and old address from when I lost it clear as day.
The girl, gave me a hehe haha remark when I was like “this is mine, this has my name and my old address” and essentially alluded that she found it and hoped that it could be used as her ID. She left and I told her that I’d let her through when she had her own.

Then my alarm went off.

After this story (I’m so sorry it’s long) I’m just unsure if I finally got to experience mall world, or if I just had a mall adjacent dream.

I’m not going to add any images depicting the plot of the dream because I don’t want to blindside anyone with any triggers, but I have had repetitive nightmares since I was like four of being in either a bathtub or an outdoor pool and a shark somehow crawling up the drain 😂 I’ll attach an image that looks like the pool I’m talking about minus the shark but I was just curious as to whether anyone else has dreamed of it too

I dreamt I was in my car looking at super tall, overlapping overpasses. I was driving really carefully so I wouldn't fall off. I saw a road with white guard rails and maneuvered to it. When I got close enough, the sides of my car locked like a roller coaster, and my car did a log-ride style drop into some shallow water.

I was greeted by people who pulled me out of the car, but I was really stand-offish. A cowboy pulled me aside and said, "hey welcome back, you don't have to worry about performing, foot traffic is pretty slow these days, so just walk around and enjoy your time." I said thank you and started exploring. It was like a carnival/rodeo area that wasn't full of people. I remember gift shops, game stands, a rodeo area, and a huge parking lot. Dream people were irritated with me for not talking to them or wanting to do their activities. I noticed they would swarm whoever's car dropped down and try to get them involved with things like performances or carnival games.

I woke up and had a brief memory of dreaming about it as a kid but playing the games inside of it. Has anyone else dreamt of this?

TLDR: I dreamt of an old, reoccurring place that was like a carnival/rodeo area. The dream people were pushy about wanting you to be involved in it

I’m not sure if this is a mall world dream but it has the same vibe and feeling and usually leads to the bathrooms. I will dream I am in my high school or middle school and it’s the first day and I lost or can’t find my schedule so I am looking for what classes to go to and usually cannot find them, then I will end up going to the bathroom and it turns into the common mall world bathroom that is gross and has no privacy and I am stuck there until I wake up irl. Anyone else?

I often have dreams where I will suddenly realize it's one of the early closing days of the week and that I suddenly have a mission to find an outfit, or specific items and I have to find what I need immediately before the mall closes for the night. Stores are shuttering all around the mall and I'm panicking trying to find what I need.

I'm fairly successful in lucid dreaming for the most part: I can control a zombie outbreak, every forgotten passport at the airport, apocalypses, packing a hoarder level house to move, clowns living in the walls, changing lightbulbs when none of the light switches work - no problem. But impending closing time at the mall? I can't do a thing to control these dreams.

Does this happen to anyone else here?

Has anyone ever been kicked out of mallworld?? I was going almost nightly, it became a second home for me for almost a year. Then there was a very weird incident where they caught me talking people into letting me use a phone to locate someone, and I haven't been back. I'll try to make it short but I showed up per usual, but my brother was there with my dog. I was like the what heck are you doing here haha?!?! Lost them in in a store. I always use my phone there so I didnt really think anything of it. Connection is lost, the screen went to like colorful static and then a dude (kindve looking like a fallout character waving his finger no) shutting me out to black..... I found a diner, asked for a phone, and they had an old giant phone to use that some people helped me set up in a rush. Soon after making a brief, unhelpful call, I was surrounded. Like a huge crowd trying to get me to stop. Haven't been back since....... Anyone else experience this??

This beach has a trove of these kinds of treasures just off shore at about 6' depth

Whenever I dream of this place it leaves an unsettling feeling. There is often something waiting outside in the parking lot for me to come outside, or something chasing me into the labyrinth inside. There are no other buildings around; it's on the side of an empty highway.

I recently had a dream that there was a museum and skydiving place connected to the bathrooms at mall world, has anyone else had a similar experience?

I’ve been stuck in a similar mall for decades. Some years I dreamt of it often, others rarely, but the goal is to leave. I never do.

I woke up today thinking of this place that I’ve visited for years. something in my mind put 2 words together mall and world, then I was like “yea that’s what I would call it”. then hours later it pops up in my twitter feed! I didnt say it out loud. now I’m going down a rabbit hole of all these places that I’ve been before. some places mark time periods in my life that I was navigating heavy emotional challenges. this is creepily too familiar and feels like my first life/home while this reality that we share is like a 3D tangible simulation. Im 34, this is tripping me out that I thought I was the only one for this long. I’ve listened to advice from other being in mallworld that has saved me in my waking life. what is this?
