But why shredded?!?! He throws the meat on there the same way the sliced cheese comes. If you have ever had a cold shredded cheese poverty sandwhich, it's not terrible in flavor, it's just the weird ass texture that slowly uncrumbles in your mouth like little strands of hair.
Image the toll it will take on your sanity when you try and try and try to convince your family and friends that it rained cheese one time but no matter how many times you tell them they just won't believe it and distance themselves from you a little further each time you bring it up.

Bro I legit was thinking this was just me! Omg...ok I was making microwaved nachos because I remember doing it as a kid, I nuked the fck out that damn cheese and it still wouldn't melt...my damn plastic bowl warped in places and my tortilla chips burnt on the edges, but did the cheese melt??? HELL NO!!! I was like ....this ain't real food yo! š
It's just mostly not regular cheese as far as i understand. But there are plenty of real cheese. Cellulose is the plant matter used heavily in shredded and powdered cheese to keep it from clumping. But something about certain cheap brands like Walmarts they melt like plastic, not cheese
Just to be pedantic, it is real cheese. It doesn't melt well because of heavy starch/decaking agents they put on shredded cheese to prevent it from congealing back into a cheese ball. It's a problem with all shredded cheese, they just use a different binder/anti caking stuff and in different amounts.
