just so you know:

if you need to walk down stairs with skates, do it backwards.

you tend to roll forwards with skates, so walking backwards down the stairs will have you rolling against the stairboard instead of off them

Every time he stepped down a step he used his right leg to step down. He fell when he attempted to use his left leg to step down, literally tripping himself. Glad he’s ok.
