Just rewatched Season Two
And I can’t stop listening to the “the Greek song” playing over the end of episode 11. This happen to anyone else?
Also gotta say even though some people don’t like it I think season two is incredible. The Sobotka storyline is a great family tragedy happening amidst all the crime and intrigue of the Greeks and their operation.
Plus I could watch Prezbo punch Valchek in the face every single day. If ever I need a laugh I’ll watch that scene.

I think people didn’t like it back in the day because waiting a year for it and the whole setting changes is jarring. Now a days you can just roll right in to season 2 and 3 and the contrast feels less. My two cents.

I was scrolling, saw this post, thought it was a different show sub, read “the greek song” and it still popped into my head. So yes. 😂

One of the all-time great sequences. Also it's the only time I can think of where non-diegetic music plays during the show (apart from the end of season montages)

Anyone who likes the wire likes season 2. It’s just ranked lower than the other seasons, but has always been solid.

The story of Frank Sobotka might be the best in the whole show
