Freddie has left the building, you and the vet really should go and check, leave his crate in the room, then when you can't find him, simply pick up the crate and go home - not to worry, Freddy will find his way home. It might even seem like he's in the crate but it's just a common phenomenal that crates gain mass when taken out of the house

Great advice. Let’s respect Freddie’s privacy and just leave the vet. If there’s no cat, there’s no need for a checkup.

My cat is petrified of the vet, so I usually just put her on the scale and her blanket on top of her so she can chill in safety. One time, the vet came in, and plopped her clipboard on top of the blanket. She was mortified when I told her the cat was under the blanket LOL she lifted it up and apologized to the cat

Took me longer than expected but then I had a void who used to pull a fantastic hiding game at the vet. So I was eyeing the dark corners and under the cabinets. lol. Once took mine to this really awesome “feline friendly” vet- separate entrance and waiting room for cats that was dimly lit, Feliway plugged in. The exam rooms were awesome- big windows with bird feeders and a huge modular cat tower that mine got to the very top of and was then trying to shove aside the ceiling tiles. 😂
The cat friendly place tried several types of treats and finally got her so preoccupied with canned food she didn’t even notice her shots. But she almost made that ceiling escape.

When I noticed it was the vet, I instinctively looked in the sink. Woo! That was a toughie! Way to go Freddie. 😸🏆
