Several 9-hour-old accounts reposting old content, copying not only the title but the comments

I do really enjoy when the bot networks comment on each others posts like that. Makes it much easier to see how many accounts are in the ring. I found a group of 4 a while back and they all got banned shortly after.

It would be very easy for reddit to detect and shadowban these bots.

reddit chooses not to.

Yup. They know, they don't care. I've given up even trying to report them.

Hell, its not even that they don't care. They actually condone this.

Funny sidebar, but I can't crosspost this to DeadInternetTheory because I was banned form there because they claim content like this does not relate to Dead Internet Theory. LOL.

There’s been a massive influx of these bots overall. r/WaitWhat’s been getting a shit ton, we ban at least three bots a day and those are just the ones we catch

Any reason you're not using BotBouncer to help remove them? Just curious.

BotBouncer was among the few apps that hadn’t registered and was at risk of being yeeted the same way RepostSleuth was. No idea if it’s been fixed tho, haven’t checked in a while
