Think about it, you get a sunburn while out in the sun, having fun. And then when it's over, it burns, and it hurts all over. You regret whatever you did to get it. And then after awhile, it peels off of you and you shed your skin because of it.
It's such a great metaphor for a failed relationship. It peels off of you.

Dust storm - the way he wrote it for all of us!!

I also can’t help but love the beat poetry vibe of Isn’t It Pretty

Others have hit the standalone, tattoo-worthy lines, so I’ll go with a larger tapestry: There’s no one single killer line, but “Red Star” is an underrated lyrical gem. It’s political and romantic and understated and never overdone/cringe. An extremely impressive bit of writing. One of their best front-to-back lyrical efforts.
