Who cares, he is still gonna get worfed and humiliated.
Don't get your hopes up.

I’ll never understand why people get so pissy about worf effect. Not only is it a compliment to the character being worfed, but it’s necessary to set up a hero’s journey and power-up

Agreed for the most part. Right now, I just hate that they’re seemingly portraying Doom as a physical powerhouse with the way he blocks Stormbreaker, instead of using magic or tech like the sorcerer-scientist medieval warlord I always viewed him as.
But if Thor gets more badass moments that don’t involve him getting worfed so badly, especially if he gets the Odinforce, and they add context to how Doom is supposedly so powerful, I’ll probably fully change my mind about that scene.

Doesn’t mean he’s physically resisting, he could still be using magic despite the appearance of the parry

I'm just going off my first impressions. If he is using magic, I find that much more believable.

If you watch carefully in high quality, there seems to be some green light when blocks Stormbreaker, and his glove has a rune on it, so it’s probably magic and could lead us to the Odinforce or even Rune King

If so, that makes much more sense.
At the least, I hope for the Odinforce since it was semi-hinted at with Thor's teaser trailer.

its bc they’re misusing the phrase, getting bested once is not being worfed, being Worfed is when you are depicted as incredibly strong, but lose tons of your fights as a method of showing the new guys so strong making the character actually feel weak bc they get their butt kicked once a weak

I think it's silly that in a THOR sub you'd be dismissing THOR discussions. Yes, he will be worfed, but it doesn't mean you dismiss anything and everything around Thor himself.

Thats cause i love Thor, and i don't blindly consume every shit take on that character.
Unlike so called "fans" in this sub.

It’s yellow on the toys, so either this is a continuity error, or maybe he’s got rainbows of lightning colors
