Comics What is Your Idea for a Thundercats Comic Book Crossover Miniseries?

Post image

That is my Question

With the Thundercats being 29 issues in counting Thundercats X SilverHawks since its canon crossover

What other comic crossover miniseries you wanna see both Canon & not? Keeping in the Skydance Family I wanna see Greg Pak & David Pepose co write crossover with Thundercats & Space Ghost or one were Ben somehow travel to Third Earth just imagine those two crossovers

Still Skydance but different publisher I wanna see Dynamite Thundercats meet the IDW Ninja Turtles Jennika & Casey Jones included so numbers can be more even

Maybe one were they meet NacelleVerse version of Biker Mice from Mars

Or another take on He-man crossover with Dynamite Thundercats meeting Dark Horse He-man

But thats me what what is Your Idea for a Thundercats comic crossover?

Mon*Star vs. Mumm-Ra in a battle of Earl Hyman roles of awesome villains.

Declan Shalvey & Ed Brisson actually considered it but left it to future writers

Granted, Earl Hyman is deceased, so any voiceover that doesn’t exist would be difficult, but I think it would be AWESOME if Mon*Star took on Mumm-Ra. The Ancient Spirits of Evil vs. the Moon Star of Limbo. Ma-mutt vs. Yes-Man…

I’m sure, but if they adapted it to cartoons, that would be awesome, but, as stated, difficult.

Please cut me some slack as I have been drinking some serious alcohol (😁)

Sure I once had friend who was reading new issue of Batman 12 in the morning while doing basically the same thing

I guess it would depend on what you want to do.

I firmly believe the easiest two characters that could crop up anywhere right now are Flashback and Neko. Easy out to explain the “why” is they ended up somewhere in the midst of returning to the “present” day. Well, present day for Neko at least. Effectively a soft and “safe” crossover to get characters from different series into each-other’s proverbial boxing rings without too much stuff going on. That same basic “why” could also get you into something larger and more involved.

If you wanted to go outside of existing Thundercats stuff? Ben 10 to me would be easy, and could probably also fit the “safe” bet and you don’t really need to throw every heavy hitter at it to make it a fun read. It could be as simple as Flashback somehow dropped him and Neko there. Maybe he thinks they jumped back too far, they stick around while he figured it out and they save a certain titular hero’s hide in the meantime. Then they jump away again (presumably to the right place this time) having realized he broke through some universal barrier by accident. Maybe make it a side effect of traveling back in time from a point that technically doesn’t exist anymore. Then you could present the solution to getting to the right place through Ben. Maybe Upgrade or Grey Matter can be the way to the solution. (Look, I remember the Generator Rex crossover. Flashback with Upgrade riding shotgun sounds like a fun idea) Then they all go back to their respective narrative corners when it’s all done.

As a note if you wanted a soft crossover of Thundercats with, say, itself (1986, 2011, or the two other points of lore I shudder to think of), the same basic mechanism with Flashback could work.

It'd be interesting to see an official comic book crossover between the Dynamite ThunderCats and the Looney Tunes. My idea for said crossover is that the Looney Tunes discover a portal in their native Tune World and curiously and/or reluctantly enter it, and soon enough, they enter the Dynamite Third Earth, where they meet up with the ThunderCats and chaos ensues for both sides in addition to dealing with the Mu'Tants and Mumm-Ra.
