The Persistent Suitor: A guy who is after the girl and just wont take no for an answer. Nowadays we just call stalking and harassment, but it used to be romantic. Example: The Notebook (2004), Noah asks Allie out while she's on a date with another man. She refuses, but he threatens to let go and fall unless she agrees to go out with him.

Comedic Woman On Man Violence: Mostly seen in anime, recently it has decreased a lot but years back every show had a woman hitting a guy and showed it as funny. Example: Toradora!, where the quintessential tsundere, Taiga, beats up the MC regularly.

Kid Bags Adult Baddie: I remember a few of these, sometimes it was to show how cool and awesome a kid was because an adult woman fell for him, now it's just seen as problematic shit. Example: Blank Check, the woman likes the kid and kisses him telling him to look for her in 10 years.

It’s known as Jobless Reincarnation for English speakers but it’s something like Mu-something Tensei for the original title.

A pedophile dies saving 2 people so he’s reincarnated with all his memories in… a fantasy world because it’s always a fantasy world.

He then sexualizes his new mother, her maid (steals her underwear and does things with it), sexualizes every child around him and wonders about their proportions as they get older so he wants to keep them around and shape them into his spouse(s) later.

Thats all in the first few episodes. I couldn’t do more and I’ve heard he does worse’s

But you have people who will defend it as if it’s their religion. When they asked the author “why did you make him a pedophile who is still a pedophile later and never makes up for it or shows remorse?” The author said “I made the story I want to read”

"Physically" Except he's not the same age, that's the problem.

He has experiences that make him a fucking adult.
If he was pursuing adults, like his teacher, that would be less creepy, if he were doing it normally.

Honestly as much as I liked Kill la Kill, Mako's family took me out of it constantly

They have their funny moments and are (usually) charming, but eventually it just gets to a point. I do not need Mako's father, younger brother, and fucking dog actively perving on Ryuko. There are infinitely funnier things they can and have done and plenty of background or side characters that ogle Ryuko enough as is

Funnily I can overlook the shit Ragyo does because imo it shows how despicable and callous she is, how she'll groom her daughters to do her bidding
