Is this considered a trope? Genuine question

Can you imagine the uproar from the baldies if you called them a trope?

"(Hated Trope) Men who are bald"

Loved trope: Bald men

Hated trope: Men who are balding

Learn the difference

Hard agree, especially when being bald doesn't stop someone from taking care of their scalp. Nothing better than a well-polished bald head

I've never heard of a person to whom term "chrome some" is an accurate description

I don’t hate them, I think they’re hilarious

Nah, I didn't think you hated them. This was just supposed to be a harmless jab at the sub and its post titles

Long-Haired Pretty Boy

Don't mind me, just exposing the larpers who never touched the site that inspired this sub.

No it’s not

I think it's not, from my opinions formed by TvTropes a whole 15 years ago. They had guidelines about what constitutes a trope, and had a counter-example named "people sitting on chairs" - a common, daily occurrence that is prevalent in media because it's prevalent in reality, not because it means something.

So tldr, it's not a trope, because it's just common. For extra clarification, another TvTropes example: "curtains match the windows" for hair & eye-color matching; it explicitly mentions only unusual colors, so someone having brown eyes and brown hair doesn't count as an example of this trope.

A visual trope, I suppose. I've noticed that, often enough, long-haired male characters are pretty relevant in the story (either as good or as bad guys).

(though I did mean this post as a bit tongue-in-cheek too ^^'')

HOTD - Daemon, but hes just one of many long haired characters and Targaryans.

Aemond, Aegon , Corlys, Leanor, and many others have long white locks of hair.
