[Hated] People Suffer Because of a Spoiled Brat
Final Destination Bloodlines: The events of the tower collapsing, and leading to Death pursuing the protagonists and countless others, is the fault of 'the penny kid'.
Elevator (2012): Madeline, the granddaughter of the building's owner, sets the plot in motion by playing with the elevator controls to torture the claustrophobic George.
Anthony Fremont (Twilight Zone 1961, S3E8, It's a Good Life). He was a kid that had godlike powers but was very spoiled. And the entire town lived and died on his whim.
In the revived Twilight Zone series they did a sequel episode where he is grown up with a daughter who is even worse than he is. Same actor who played the kid, too.
"Spoiled" is a little misleading, because it implies that his parents were too indulgent. Since this kid was omnipotent and omniscient, his parents had no choice but to indulge his every whim.
Fun fact, for the show they aged him up; in the original short story the kid was three. Imagine being entirely at the mercy of a three year old.
Funny thing is if you read the short story it's not even that he's necessarily a bad kid in fact the story says is relatively benevolent with animals
But he's a small child with no greater sense of morality, there's no other power to keep him in check, he can hear people's thoughts ( so everyone mumbles around him to scramble their minds) and he might not look like a normal child and in fact maybe demonic or Goblin like which
Caused the doctor on the day he was born to freak out leading to the child either psychically destroying the rest of the world or splitting their Town Off.
Dio started bullying his adoptive brother because, for some reason, he thought that doing so would allow him to secure the family inheritance — JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
Whats even more obnoxious is that George would absolutely have split it evenly between the two, and Dio would never have to work a day in his life anyway.
Because he was neglected by George, Dio was never able to grow out of his Survival of the Fittest mindset, and the two brothers just ended up low-key hating each other, not fixing any of the problems between them. Until this boiled over with Dio’s attempted assassination of George, whom the bystanders had the gall to say had “given the rest of his goodness to Johnathan,” nothing happened to advance the situation
Look no further than this stupid chick right here, more commonly known as Christine “Chris” Hargensen from Carrie. She was nothing more than a vicious bully that couldn’t take accountability for her deplorable actions and instead had to carry out one final act of malice that inadvertently led to the prom massacre and most of the town being destroyed.
Stephen King was seriously ahead of his time with mean girl culture!
His wife made him scrap some of the old writing for that story, because she knew that the teen girls depicted weren't being realistically mean enough. She was speaking from experience.
Yeah the funny thing is if you look at the school most of them aren't even like in on the joke and don't think it's funny they're more shocked when it happens but Carrie doesn't see that she just hears her crazy mothers words and flips
It really is sad because there's probably a bunch of them who didn't even know her since it looked like it was a fairly big school and would've absolutely been against that "prank"
Musk too. Grown ass men with such pathetic personalities and prioritize money and helping the rich rather than actual people in need. People are suffering in Congo, Nepal, Indonesia (just learned about the situation there and it’s awful), and etc but…FLYING CARS, right…? https://giphy.com/gifs/ckKf5lA78k5iChxfVz
It's not his fault more than 50% of the country who voted decided to vote him again.
Edit: so he got the most votes but only 49.8% of the country is stupid not more than 50%
Eh honestly watching from outside you guys(as a whole country) always scream rigged when your party lises be it republican or democrat. And just that trump quote isn't enough for me to belive it
Correct me if wrong, but wasn't he bribing people to enroll in swing states. Since you can't bribe people into voting for your party, but he did it in such a way that made new voters want to vote Republican.
he barely had any grasp on the throne. if anything he indirectly enabled the people responsible by being inbred with severe cognitive impairments and a weak will
The somehow centuries-old literal child of the sorceress Morgaine Le Fay. The moment this little shit got enough power for himself, he banished all adults, including his mother, to a parallel dimension off Earth, leaving just children behind. The Justice League and Le Fay then have to strike a deal, with her turning them into children so they can be put back on Earth and stop Mordred.
Iosef Tarasov (John Wick): Got mad when John Wick refused to sell his car to him and responded by breaking into his house, beating him up, stealing the car, and killing his dog. This leads to 4 movies worth of death and destruction in the crimeworld.
Debbie from Addams Family Values - She murders her parents because they got her the wrong Barbie toy as a kid. She then goes on to marry and murder men for their money.
We’ve only had 2 episodes so far but it seems she’s the cause of Gwen’s suffering and mental trauma by always being horrifically torn apart and put back together by her, only for the processes to be repeated all over again just because she’s never “perfect” enough
The construction going into Park Planet always dumps refuse onto the planets surface so the rest of society has to live in trash and squalor
Even her father who is responsible for helping build up the legacy of the Park and Gwen is suffering due to Olivia always throwing tantrums in front of investors potentially losing them partners and creditably
Don't ask me why I stuck around with this show, but this has legit one of the worst endings I've ever seen anywhere, and I've never seen anyone talk about it. It made me think intermittently that I imagined the whole thing.
Same. I think I mainly stuck around with it because of Michelle Gomez and her tendency to just wander into scenes, steal them from everyone else, then wander back out again. Plus Miranda Otto being thoroughly great as well.
It's adapted from a specific "dark and gritty" version of the comic, also called The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, which is actually even worse than the TV show, seemingly just so the author could show how "edgy" he was.
The original Sabrina the Teenage Witch comics were much more light-hearted and fun.
More inline with the "dark and edgy" comic titled The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, but the very original comics were much more light-hearted and fun.
Game of Thrones looks so good every time I see it, but can’t bear the idea of watching it, because I’ll know I’ll get so invested that the total dumpster fire at the end will hurt even more.
Mama's Family when the Reverend's grandson comes to stay with the Harpers. He torments them, destroy's Iola's property, and even bounds and gags Thelma for some reason. He almost gets away with all of it because his family doesn't believe in spanking.
The Hunt. In this film, a child unjustly accuses his teacher of abuse, and without any proof, people immediately become afraid and treat Lucas as if he were complete human garbage, completely excluding him, beating him, only for the child to admit to his father that it was a lie. In the last scene, during a hunt, a shot hits the tree next to Lucas, showing that even with the story proving his innocence, he would be marked by it and some people would still see him as a monster, to the point of trying to end his life. It's a great film.
Starlord losing his temper and blowing the Thanos plan. He knows they're seconds from defeating Thanos by sticking to the plan. But a lifetime of making everything about himself forces him into action. He has to hit Thanos right now. Everything be damned. It's about Starlord's manchild impulsivity. It's worked for him every other time to this point so he resorted to what he knew.
True but Star-lord, raised by a blue skinned alien pirate who liked to constantly joke his men wanted to eat him and forced by said pirate to steal stuff, is probably the opposite of "spoiled"
Eren is the opposite of spoiled; he literally lost his parents and was a child soldier. Is just any child that isn't beaten within an inch of their life "spoiled"?
Yeah, Eren was a raging asshole and I truly hope Jean ended up with Mikasa while she quickly got over Eren after her programming would give out with his death.
Only seen clips but Penny Kid was just a vector through which Death enacted yet another Rude Goldberg-style mass slaughter. If Death didn't chose to enact mass murder on the tower, the coin would've ended up in the pond and not done some magic boomerang into the tower vents
