I saw this and was wondering what car it is. Those look like mid 80s Toyota pedals but I’m not aware of one that also has a foot parking brake.

Hopefully this car last me another couple of years.

When I try to adjust the volume while nothing is playing then I get a little error message on the touch screen that says volume cannot be adjusted while audio is paused, this message will pop up even when Android Auto is not on.
I feel like on a surface level this design decision makes no sense, there are tons of situations where I might want to pause my music and then adjust the volume before turning it back on. But if that was the only problem it would be manageable.
The real problem is that if I pause my music/audiobook and then play a video with audio on reddit or my phone video gallery it won't register to the vehicle that I am currently playing audio and so it won't let me adjust the volume. So if I just paused the music I was listening to at a slightly loud volume then play a video on reddit, the audio from the video will be absurdly loud (it feels even louder than the music was for some reason) and it won't let me turn it down. I have to go unpause my music, turn the volume down, then go back to reddit if I want to hear that video's audio at a reasonable volume level. Same thing happens if I try to play a video from my phone gallery, the audio will be loud as fuck and it won't let me adjust it.
I'm not entirely sure if this is an issue with the Toyota software that runs the dashboard touchscreen or an Android Auto issue, but I think I remember it not being a problem on a different car that I have used Android Auto on before.

Purchased a 2013 Toyota corolla S of july of this year. These have always been on the dashboard im pretty sure its just sensors seeing theres zero problem with it while driving. If I had the manual for it id referrer to that but it did not have one with it.
-The brake light sometimes comes on after starting the and sometimes doesnt. Break fluid doesnt seem to below the line but it does look a little close so it could be that
-The (!) light blinks for a good 30 seconds after starting the car
-The other two just stay solid
What is the best way on identifying what sensors are bad, is it just checking codes? Im hoping to do this by myself as much as I can so I can get a better idea on keeping it 100% !!

I’m sitting in my 2020 RAV4 Mark 5 Excel. My wife and I have just flown back to the UK after 9 glorious days in Spain.
We’re in Luton Airport car park and the car won’t start. I’m pretty sure the small 12V battery is flat.
Britannia Rescue are on their way. While we’re waiting for them to get the car going I realised we will need to buy a new 12V battery. The car is still on the original battery. 6 years is a long time to ask of one of these.
We have a solar battery charger and a battery booster pack but they’re at home 30 miles away. Yes, I know. 🙄
What I would like to know is, if I buy a replacement 12V battery, can I just fit it in place of the failed battery or do I need to take it to a Toyota dealer to have it coded to the car’s electrical system?
Obviously I would prefer to fit it myself if at all possible. Please advise? 🙏

For a little context, I’m a 21 year old that is currently driving a fwd Toyota Camry. I live in area with long winters with roads that sometimes don’t get plowed. In the summers I do like to go camping a good amount and sometimes need to go to sketchy areas to get to my fishing spot (Driving on the beach or going on a bumpy road). I am a lot more well off in terms of my finances compared to when I bought my Camry, so gas mileage is not as big of a deal as it used to be. I chose these two particular models and trims because the monthly cost is what I am comfortable with. Would love to hear some thoughts and good advice from owners of these vehicles.

My 1.2L sedan barely gives 11–12 kmpl in daily bumper-to-bumper traffic, while a 1,650 kg Camry with a huge 2.5L engine easily pulls 20+ kmpl on the exact same route.
It basically comes down to 4 things working together:
Every time I brake for a speedbreaker or e-rickshaw, I waste petrol as heat. The Camry uses that braking momentum to charge its battery.
Normal engines drink the most fuel idling at signals and crawling in 1st gear. The Camry just keeps its engine off in jams and moves purely on the electric motor.
It uses an Atkinson cycle engine (41% efficiency vs ~28% in regular cars). Small cars can't use this because low-RPM pickup is terrible, but the Camry's electric motor covers that torque gap instantly.
Its e-CVT has no belts or clutches—whenever the petrol engine does turn on, it stays locked at its sweet-spot RPM and dumps any extra power back into the battery.
I'm out here sweating over clutch control to squeeze out 12 kmpl while the guy in a 50L car is chilling on ventilated seats running on free energy from the last red light.

My mum has a 2019 corolla hybrid estate. She transported a second hand dishwasher in her boot and it turns out they didn't drain it. So boot go flooded, she's dried out the boot all the way down to the wheel well but now when she drives she has a sloshing sound from the rear wheel/passenger area. We can bounce the rear of the car and hear it.
I've removed the underside rear panel which was soaked but no pool to create a slosh
So where do I look to find this pool of water? If anyone has links to a build diagram that would be useful

I currently have a 2018 Lexus RX F Sport with around 100k miles on it. It’s fully loaded with pretty much every feature, including the panoramic roof, Mark Levinson sound system, heated seats, heads-up display, etc. I average around 20 MPG and expect to spend about $400 a month on gas. I’ve been thinking about trading it in for a 2026 Camry XLE Hybrid, but I’m wondering how much of a downgrade it would be in terms of comfort, driving experience, and overall feel. Would the Camry feel significantly worse coming from the Lexus?

Added some new footwell lighting to my 2024 Tacoma TRD Sport! The red lighting gives the interior a whole new look at night and pairs great with my Lasfit floor liners. Definitely a nice little upgrade to customize the cab!

I just purchased an 07 Toyota Camry with 121,000 miles. The car looks very well maintained. Just curious if there's any maintenance I should do at this mileage or anything I should look out for.

Runs and drives great, me and my partner test drove it and its wonderful and fun. Although there is a quiet squeaking consistent noise when its on. We have no car rn, but can take a 500-800 dollar repair cost if necessary. Our research say this car has at least another 100,000 miles to it. Its been very well maintained. We love this car, we just wanna know if its a good idea.

My Sienna 26XLE is a fantastic car that I’m excited to see my kids grow up in. The drivetrain and low depreciation are insane in these Toyotas.
Thought i might show my recent purchase on here too :)
The car is 100% original and has keyless entry with a start/stop button, climate control and a 6-speed manual transmission.
Let me know if they have this in your country :D
