For these Operation Moonbi posts, everyone please read the full article linked and bear in mind 1) they’re located within Australia only, and 2) the more important factor is if someone personally recognises / owns / has owned these items in the past. These are about identifying victims, not ONLY the items. Identifying brand and full item etc is super helpful too! But after that, it’s more about if someone knows their kid, a relative, a friend’s kid, etc owned and wore these items and where they’re located and their childcare provider.
These relate to the arrest of 35yo Hamish Tait who was employed in childcare and early education facilities between 2009 and 2025
(Apologies for copy-pasting to each post but it’s necessary)

Hi,
Thanks for posting your insights. However, I hope this comment is not deterring anyone from trying to identify the items.
While the main offender has been identified, a better quality image of these clothing items would be a great visual aid nonetheless in assisting victims.
Cheers.

The date and the location this picture was taken is already known. They're hoping someone recognises their kid had those clothes and went to that centre.

I hope not, hence why I specified it’s still very helpful but not the sole purpose— moderators can of course remove it or I can certainly edit or delete it if the general consensus is that it’s detrimental. I definitely could’ve worded it better for these less recognisable items, but it was prompted by the comment section of another Australian victim ID post (anklet, ref. 2501008) being inundated with international commenters suggesting and then arguing with each other over all the worldwide locations where the item itself might’ve been bought or made

I imagine the better quality of certain images from this subreddit's sources, the more uncomfortable it is to the general public.

Is it some sort of one large stripe across the shirt?

Looks like a very light blue/white shirt with blue sleeves. Doesn’t seem to have any patterns on it, but I might not be seeing it right

I understand where you're coming from. This image is too blurry and grainy to see in detail, and the shirt barely have any markings, patterns, or drawings on it if the very small spots is the trick of the shade

The shirt style itself reminds me of Cat and Jack shirt that would have been sold around that time. Cat & Jack is US only though, so I’d assume it would be connected to someone with the ability to travel to the states or had family in the states.
They had multiple colors and options previously. The color blocking stood out to me since it was sleeves and the collar of the shirt only. This specific one looks like the light grey shirt with navy sleeves and “neon” yellowish/green pocket on the front.
Other examples of the shirt but couldn’t find the color combo that looks like the picture.

They look like small spots. Either stains or art of this shirt

I believe it is simply the grain of the image making the shade look like stains but i could be wrong considering how bad the quality is
