Needs more cherry swirl but it's damn good !. The dark chocolate chunks are a meal almost.

After reading other people’s reviews, it exceeded my expectations. It’s hard for me not to enjoy something with chocolate chunks. I wish I could find another tub. I’m happy it’s coming back next summer.

You should try their Moose Tracks - Chocolate swirls and chocolate chunks. (I know it sounds weird now that I've written that. But it's my favourite of their line.)

I bought Moose Tracks today. It is amazing. I’m so glad I did it with a push from this sub. I shared it with my Mom who doesn’t usually like peanut butter, but she enjoyed this. 🫎

It was okay. Tasted a lot like rum raisin and not enough cherries. But did I eat all of it? Yes.

I preface with: I love the concept, execution, and flavour is delicious. That being said, it is unfortunately not in my top 5. Personal feedback: a nut or cookie crunch added in would have made it.

Awesome ice cream tried this while camping in Algonquin Park this past summer it was delicious currently heading home to Vancouver island hope to find some there.

Awww man, I live in Sudbury, On and I took a drive out to Garson last weekend and they HAD some. So good, could use a bit more cherry but all in all great ice cream

I’m not a fan of booze flavoured ice cream, but it’s pretty good.
Ironically everyone in my house is in love with this flavour and I’m the only Hip fan in the house so I’ve been eating plenty of it anyway. Moose tracks is better IMO but it’s still a really good ice cream

I tried it after hearing the hype and it fell a bit flat for me. Not enough cherry swirl to really taste it. The flavour of the ice cream is definitely an aquired taste. I still don't hate it but don't love it either, so not a re-buy for me.

I’m in Edmonton and have gone to a few different grocers with no luck.
Went to a few spots today (Superstore, Save On Foods, Co-op) and while they carry Kawartha, none had this flavour.
My local co-op had 8 flavours of Kawartha but not this one. :/

I used the Save On app to confirm if the location close to me had it in stock before I went. Thankfully it was still in stock when I got there the next day.

I just ended up calling a few locations and found one that had one in stock. They put it at the back of the freezer for me so it was “hidden” until I got there to grab it

Saw a stack here at the store, and debated it but didn't know what alcohol flavour it was, or how much chocolate was in it. Not a fan of chocolate.

At first I was like wow that's a lot of flavor. And then after a couple of spoonfuls it really grows on you. It's really good ice cream.

Born in Quebec City, Grew up Stowe Vermont and Live in Morristown, Vermont, I’m 67. Have become a serious fan of the hip just this Summer(Better late then never I guess).
Question : Can this ice cream be purchased in Quebec province? The border is only one hour away.

Short answer is, yes. But availability is limited. Walmart and IGA carry the brand in Quebec but the selection of flavours is limited. Some research would probably be needed in advance to see if they carry this ice-cream before making the trek north.

It’s a limited time flavour and was told only for the summer (by kawartha employee) 🤷♂️
I didn’t like it initially (the whisky maple flavour is different🍁) but it really really grew on me and liked it a lot by the end of the tub. as another commenter expressed it needs more cherry swirl ! 💯🏆

I regularly visit Kawartha Dairy for work and I have to vent something that really grinds my gears...
This is the most recent flavour they've released, obviously as an homage to the band. Even references the lyrics to "Bobcaygeon" on the label. Do you know what the second most recent flavour was called??? CONSTELLATION. not one mention of The Hip, or the constellations in Bobcaygeon where the damn dairy IS, or anything of the sort... Then they release this like nothing ever happened.
I won't forget.

I enjoyed the moose tracks, particularly the peanut butter cups. I would rate the ice cream as good not excellent. I would probably buy again, but it’s not my favourite

I agree. If i went to the retail location of Kawartha in Toronto it would not be my forst choice of a scoop to buy. They have a lot of great flavours. I dont think id buy a tub again but I really wanted to try it.

I just finished my tub of this I bought a bit ago. It was good like a 7.5/10 but I don't think I'd buy it again anytime soon. But it was a good change and was unique.
