Really curious if the Skybound animated series does happen, how will they interpreted this scene especially..

Like, if fans can make it look crazy brutal animated, imagine what a full fledged, financed animation studio could do with it..

Mabye....in one of the newer issues we see him imprisoned insided the Deception Matrix. While he didn't look to be in pain, he is seemingly stuck in a sort of undending limbo, unable to return to the well of Allsparks...

I mean, I think Trailbreaker is basically dead. I don't think he's coming back properly. Maybe his spirit is able to interfere and give them an edge when the battle against The Fallen inevitably happens, but he'll likely be destroyed along with the Matrix of Oppression in the end.

Holy shit. 

The very little that I know about Skybound, and it’s this video, Miekun’s short video on Starscream, and Elita Prime. 

I don’t think Bayformers were this brutal.

Funnily enough in the original script for Transformers 2007, Megatron eats Jazz's spark after ripping him in half.

This scene is still in the novelization for the movie.

Yep. Early drafts had Megatron be a consumer of sparks, cannibalizing dead Autobots. Novel still contains it as well as the DS game and a comic.

In the DS game he says he'll enjoy feasting on Jazz's spark, and in the comic he says "you're spark will be mine!"
