Yeah, he's comically greedy but like....
More like Classic SpongeBob's Mr Krabs type of greedy, he has shown redeemable moments.
Highly suggest reading his comics and the Christmas special comic that featured him.

u/One_Opportunity_9608 Me no flair, me king Sep 13 '26
Yeah, Lex Luther would have fit the bottom better, not because of his intelligence, this administration is far from that, but because of how Petty they are.
2
u/ununseptimus I'm not splittable Sep 15 '26
Considering that part of Luthor's corporate arsehole / politician revamp was explicitly based on Trump, years before he was ever elected president... hell, just look at the cover. Black cover, gold letters, the works.
Luthor was a better president, though. Even if he did do it just to fuck with Superman, he at least divested himself of Lexcorp first...
But, like you say, intelligence notwithstanding, he's certainly got the obsessive malice and greed down.

u/CreepyClay Sep 14 '26
That and Larfleeze is no liar he makes it abundantly clear who and what he is.

u/Heroic-Forger Sep 12 '26
Reminds me of the time they made a Star Wars post and depicted Trump holding a red lightsaber.
These guys unironically watched Star Wars and thought the Empire were the good guys.
92
u/reeny_chan Sep 12 '26
And even designed the f***ing Space Force uniforms after the Empire’s!
47
u/suitedcloud Sep 12 '26
Actually they designed it after Starship Troopers (it says so in the proposal image)
You know, the famously satirical fascist sci-fi movie
-11
u/Weary-Case-1039 Sep 12 '26
On top of that, the new pope looks like Palpatine…
Do what you want with that info
16
u/someone_online22 Sep 12 '26
That’s a bit of a moot point since both are old guys in robes. They’re gonna look similar, doesn’t mean they are
-7
u/Weary-Case-1039 Sep 12 '26
Yeah but the similarities in physical appearance is funny to think about
7
u/TF-Fanfic-Resident Sep 12 '26
Trump holding a red lightsaber
I mean, at least with the Star Wars post you can kinda argue that the red color stands for Republicans and that the negative stereotypes of immigrants in the US kinda sorta resemble some of the Empire's grunts if you squint really hard (I'm not saying that Jabba the Hutt resembles actual immigrants but instead that he resembles defamatory stereotypes of immigrants). Also, it takes place in another galaxy and has no similarities to real-world factions. Still really fucking stupid and tasteless, but it isn't a clear-cut case of doing exactly the opposite of the canon.
Spidey and the Lanters
Spider-Man tends to be light on the IRL politics, and Lanterns is a cop show (cops in the USA lean right-wing). So while not excusable by any means, they aren't as colossally tone-deaf as using Autobots in propaganda.
Team Trump explicitly appropriating a series about aliens who seek asylum on Earth and are on-again, off-again persecuted by Uncle Sam? OMG
7
u/Bad_RabbitS Sep 13 '26
They also used Superman which is another wildly tone-deaf call, considering Superman is literally a character built on the groundwork of life as an immigrant.
6
u/TF-Fanfic-Resident Sep 13 '26
Superman was adopted as a baby by Americans and raised as an American, though. Infant adoptions generally aren't a target of nativists atm.

5

There are a few fanfics of them in Evangelion, I believe.
3
u/Sad_Carry_7070 Sep 13 '26
I'm pretty sure there was an official crossover between the two you can look it up on a wiki
48
u/M0ebius_1 Sep 12 '26
It's a reality of being a conservative that most of their fictional heroes would fucking hate them.
Punisher hates cops, Superman is an immigrant, Peter Parker is from Queens
7
u/Cirnothestarscream9 Sep 13 '26
Civil War (the comic) should be proof enough that Spiderman would NEVER side with Trumps dictatorship, let alone freaking ICE
-24
u/Scattershot98 Sep 12 '26
Punisher hates *corrupt cops, Superman is an immigrant who assimilated to Earth's laws and fight against his fellow Kryptonians who sought to make earth like Krypton, and why would Peter being from Queens be relevant at all?
26
u/M0ebius_1 Sep 12 '26
Superman breaks Earth laws every single day. He has a fake birth certificate.
Punisher hates lawful cops because they are part of the system and he specially hates any cop that wants to be like him.
Peter Parker voted for Mandani.

4

Because of how The Boys ended that showed just how much of a manchild Homelander is
6
u/lyle_smith2 Sep 12 '26
The worst bad guys always think they are the good guys. I mean, Thanos killed half the universe instead of making double the resources. Their entire worldview is based on a selfish and arrogant logic that doesn’t translate into reality.

u/Bad_RabbitS Sep 13 '26 edited Sep 14 '26
This administration is a fucking joke. Imagine the outcry these same people would’ve had if Obama had been posting the kind of slop that Trump does, if Obama “joked” about going for a third term, if Obama made memes about superheroes deporting people.
This administration has solidified the USA as a laughing stock on the world stage, and we as a nation are backsliding hard. The damage that has been done will take years to undo, if not decades, and that’s assuming there is a concentrated and largely uncorrupted effort to do so immediately following the Trump admin.
Anyway, soundwave please have my children
1
u/Prowl2681 Sep 15 '26
I agree with almost everything you've said but I do have to be break it to you, the world has been laughing at the US well before this shitstain came into office.
Many aren't checking the news to see how we set an example to the world, they're checking to see if we're going to fuck them over today because historically that's what this country has done over and over, regardless of the administration.

In the middle is Larfleeze, the Orange Lantern, the greediest being in the galaxy. On the right is the White Dragon, a literal white supremacist supervillain. Both are from DC comics.
9
u/Wild_Relative3482 Sep 12 '26
Larfleeze strangely enough might have a really tragic backstory like im talking born in slavery ignored by mother, outcasted by family, enslaved again and then having the actual family he cares about(his wife and children) killed/sold in slavery again. Then again larfleeze speaks in half truths.

Peacemaker's dad from the James Gunn series. In the series, he's what you get when you mix Iron Man, the KKK, and the neonazis in a blender

Homelander (at least before they turned him into a caricature of his former self) was honestly better than the current US government.

They don't believe it, they are their policies are just wildly unpopular so coopting things that are popular are the only way to appeal to the base. Its also why they have no policy beside just strawman a minority to create in group mentality.

u/Unusual_Traffic4773 Sep 14 '26

Yeah, if you ask me, I think the most accurate Transformers equivalent of Donald Trump, and this entire shit-show of a presidential administration as a whole, is Zeta Prime from IDW. This motherfucker Zeta was worse than Sentinel in this specific continuity in several different ways! He militarized the city of Iacon, locked down numerous recreational zones, and enforced brutal police brutality and totalitarian security measures via a handpicked, compromised security council in the form of the counterterrorism group known as the “Autobots.” He ordered the bombing of civilian neighborhoods and subsequently labeled the surviving, displaced victims as "traitors" and terrorists just to cover up his regime's energy rationing and crackdowns. He used extreme authoritarian methods—including brainwashing (shadowplay) political opponents and dissidents through mnemosurgery—and was fully prepared to execute Orion Pax when his crimes were brought to light. And lastly, he secretly utilized massive energy siphons—his specialized vamparc ribbons—to drain the life and energon straight from ordinary Cybertronian citizens that he deemed “insurgents” to fuel his private military and war machine!
1
u/superjump3d Sep 14 '26
if you know larfleeze back story you will now he doesn't belong there
1
u/Hairy-Fuel-6275 Sep 15 '26
His backstory is sad in the beginning, but near the end of the backstory it shows why he SHOULD be on this list. He killed literally everyone he was with out of greed over the orange lantern rings/battery

5
u/Sire_Raffayn272 Sep 12 '26

-5
u/Jsolidlo Sep 12 '26
Because if you follow the comic book lore, Superman has turned into an unstoppable tyrant leader multiple times. There are also versions of him in the multiverse that surpass all other evils aka SuperBoy.
-7
u/Jsolidlo Sep 12 '26
Ya'll I'm like the biggest Superman fan, and as such, I can confidently tell you that according to the actual lore, he suffers from being an all-powerful perfectionist, and if you don't understand how dangerous this can be, then please read the comics!
