A lot of people are facing hardships due to trump's policies, not just MAGAts and not just Americans. It is, however, fitting and even appropriate that those who voted with hatred in their dark little racist hearts are feeling the results personally.
I have no love for anything related to trump: but: I have to acknowledge that his campaign really knew how to reach a large number of a particular group of Americans.
My gut tells me that it was the influence from Russia and the FSB under putin's orders. This is exactly what a country's intelligence services should be doing. It was the American intelligence agencies job to thwart russia's actions.
This type of activity (subverting a country's election process ultimately is to benefit russia/ putin.

Look at trump's actions vis a vis support for Ukraine (or, more accurately, helping putin finance his war.). Look at how feeble NATO looks? If Russia invades Estonia, Latvia or Lithuania, can you guarantee that the US military will step in? Will trump allow US forces to step in? Look at how questionable the US's alliance with Western Europe has become.

Same here. I lived in the Deep South during his first term. Between all the anti-Obama racist crxp and the pro-Trump hate of anyone not a white Christian I heard enough. Racism is alive and well. Trump just gave them permission to crawl out from under their rocks.

People seem pretty ignorant of demographics in general. Hispanic is an ethnicity, not race. Those count as 'white' on the census.
Mexico has a category for light skinned in their census, and that shows around 30% of the population. naturally red and blonde hair is pretty common in that demographic.
What is sad about this is that it does not happen more, since MAGAs spewing racist insults often do it in gangs, and target people who can't fight back.
