THE CHUBBY ATELIER IS REAL The survey results have spoken, Atelier Karia will have 5 stages of transformation from eating
https://www.famitsu.com/article/202610/91227
"The much-talked-about "chubby" feature for Karia will apparently implement five stages of transformation: slim, default, and plump. Furthermore, it will be possible to switch the body transformation on and off, or to play the game while keeping a specific body type fixed."

ASBOLUTE UNIVERSE It seems in a cameo sense, the TMNT are around in the
And the title also tells us what they're mainly missing, ninja training.
But if these Teenage Mutant Turtles happen because of a mix with Kryptonian blood with The Ooze, how buff must they be or how like insanely skilled must Splinter be or SHREDDER!? Does the Ooze actually need Kryptonian blood in this verse to like evolve people and animals or does it just not upgrade you as much?
Also, a sort of callback to how the Ooze that made the Turtles is what made Daredevil blind and give him super sense in the other areas. So these Turtles are like Half Daredevil, Half Superman, no ninja?

News/Articles YouTube Is Looking to Expand Into Audiobooks
YouTube is preparing to launch an audiobooks feature as soon as next year and has been in talks with publishers over the previous months, according to the Wall Street Journal. You can already find a bunch of channels with audiobook videos on the platform if you look. Some of them feature titles in the public domain, but some of them offer books that aren't legally supposed to be on YouTube. One growing problem on the platform is the spread of unauthorized book recordings made using AI. Ever come across an audiobook on YouTube narrated by a robotic voice? Most likely, it was one of those unauthorized titles we're talking about.
Since there are already other, more established services, its success will all depend on YouTube's library and how competitive its prices will be.

Ocarina of SLIME
Y'all. The Ocarina remake looks amazing. Honestly, I'm so excited for this. I'm over the complaints I had about the artstyle; it - as I knew it would - looks amazing in action.
But I am still thrown by just how shiny everyone is when wet. LOOK at my boy's face here. Look at his fingers. Bro looks like he had a clearcoat accident.
EDIT - Y'all. I get that it's raining. That's...why I'm talking about how they look when wet? My point is that they look slimy instead of actually wet. That's not how wet skin looks, it's not that glossy.

Penguin Colony and another game Spoilers In the spirit of the season you sould play Penguin Colony as spoiler free as possible Spoiler
If you have played ''The Return of the Obra Dinn'' you sould remember what happens after you access Abigail memories.
''Penguin Colony'' have a similar moments like that when I looked up and realised that you sould play this game, if not for the horror of lovecraft/imperialism, then do it for the sick tricks you can do when you slid around as a penguin

News/Articles Activision executive is not happy with CoD coverage, believes there’s a “COD tax” in media about it.
He more or less thinks that the media doesnt consider the work that goes into the games or how big the audience is since its more or less status quo now. Mat piscaleta of Circana noted that black ops 7 had about 21% of all players say they intended to get it compared to 15% of MW4 this year.
Idk personally I think he’s just making excuses for why CoD sales are actually going down somewhat. Last year it was game pass, now its the media, guaranteed its GTA6 next year. Microsoft spent too much money on those acquisitions and they don’t know how to get their money back.

News/Articles Behind the Scenes of ‘Grand Theft Auto VI’, by Jason Schreier (He did not play it, for he was only allowed to watch someone play)
Dan Houser, the co-founder of Rockstar Games, once preached the benefits of keeping the video-game development process as secretive as possible.
“Games are still magical. It’s like they’re made by elves,” he told GQ in 2018. “You turn on the screen, and it’s just this world that exists on TV. I think you gain something by not knowing how they’re made.”
Houser departed from the company shortly afterwards, but his philosophy has lingered. Rockstar, one of the largest game developers in the world, is also somehow one of the most mysterious. Unlike many of its competitors, Rockstar doesn’t have big personalities who appear at conferences or post on social media. The company’s top developers are all but anonymous even to the biggest Grand Theft Auto fans.
I can’t say I agree with Houser’s stance; in fact, I’ve spent most of my career trying to pierce the opacity of the video-game industry. Understanding the complexities of game development can elicit more empathy from players and lead to smarter, more interesting discussions about games.
So it was a pleasant surprise when the company decided to open its doors ahead of the release of Grand Theft Auto VI, which will be out Nov. 19.
Last month, I flew to Edinburgh, Scotland to visit Rockstar North, where I spoke with the company’s creative leads for a Bloomberg Businessweek cover story about the making of Grand Theft Auto VI. Rockstar’s head of publishing, Jennifer Kolbe, and development heads Aaron Garbut, Phil Hooker and Rob Nelson, all spoke about the challenges they faced along the way, both during the game’s production and in improving the company’s culture.
The thing that struck me the most, despite the mystique, is that the story of Grand Theft Auto VI sounded familiar. It took a long time to coalesce. It faced crippling technical issues, required a lot of decisions that took a long time to finalize, struggled with team-wide communication, was full of tasks that took longer than expected, was amorphous and unclear until it finally came together, relied upon trailers to help buoy the team and was delayed multiple times — just like every other video game.

Better Ask Reddit Do you remember any “phases” you went through?
Like say you got really into a particular hobby, community, or media super hard before your interest eventually faded. I can think of two for myself:
About 5 or so years ago I got really into Transformers and thought I might make transformers collecting my new “thing” before eventually just sort of letting that feeling pass.
I got SUPER into Steven Universe like 10 or so years ago. Following the schedule was a nightmare, so you kind of had to be IN the community to know when new episodes were coming out. Once the series finale came and went, I sort of forgot about it and I didn’t even finish Future

Gameposting How do you feel when Remakes are more reinterpretations of the text than 1:1 Remakes?
Seeing the Ocarina Of Time Remake Trailer made me think about my relationship with Remakes in general.
You know, it's funny, when I was younger, all I wanted was the same old game but with super graphics.
Now that we're getting those in an era that super graphics is the norm, I'm sort of over it?
I'm realizing that I mostly like Remakes that are more reinterpretations than outright the same game at all.
I like Resident Evil 2 and 4 Remakes, not because they're exactly the same as the originals, but because they're just different enough that it makes me want to play them.
I like that, they're trying this thing which they make the characters more cohesive in terms of development with the Remakes, it brings a different experience than the more loosey-goosey sequel that the originals had.
It's not better or worse, it's different and that's what I like about them.
I still haven't played MGS Delta, and I'll probably wait it out for a big discount. Because I already played MGS 3, many times in fact. So I'm not in a hurry to play them.
I have exceptions of course, like Persona 3 Reload, but overall, I like when they bring a different flavour to an original game.

Better Ask Reddit Worst horror media you ever experienced?
It's still spooky month but now we're going to talk about horror you tought was bad or just not scary.
I admit i find a lot of horror going so much into the gore and graphics imagery end up looking more darkly funny or edgy than scary. Bad specials effects can also strongly affect the experience. Sometime you have directors who can cleverly hide the most badly made effects with good lights and framing, and sometime you have cheap monsters in full daylight while the audience laugh.
But i still prefer a trashy fun horror than a boring not scary horror work. Any standouts exemples (can includes games and books)?

Starwars: Jizz Mortis
Starwars with a discord elysium game would go hard.
I wonder if the force would gets its own persona in your head.
The Force: your hand is suddenly stopped, as if the universe is holding you back and judging you. Or maybe it’s just your blood?”
