Altered DNA
I waited a little while after Grusch's appearance on JRE before typing this out to see if anyone would post about it but it doesn't seem likely now.
I think the answers we seek are going to be found in our DNA and the advancements in CRISPR, gene editing and _now_ AI is what's culminating in the 2027 expectations.
In the latest Grusch interview, he repeatedly stated something along, "What if AI had access to our DNA, medical information, etc.? It could uncover the truth by itself." He mentions this multiple times throughout the interview as if there's something about to be discovered.
And back in 2023, Lue Elizondo also mentioned DNA would be his mechanism to send a message across time, here he is on Curt Jaimungal's show: https://curtjaimungal.substack.com/p/the-best-of-lue-elizondo-ufos-human-52d?utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web
Happens at approximately 22:45.
If we're being speculative, I think some other species tried to ensure its survival and conducted a "directed panspermia" campaign. It sent itself (read: evolved humans) here alongside a "protection protocol" system. This system would be the underwater UAP bases. Alongside the robot-like greys, it keeps the growing civilisation in check and guides it's development back to it's highly advanced self. The stuff in our DNA is not simply a product of natural evolution but that of controlled evolution. Alfred Wallace (Darwin's co-developer of the Theory of Evolution) stated he believed humans evolved too quickly based on when the earth could sustain life, mathematically unlikely.
It would explain why so many of these beings are humanoid-looking, breathe air, etc if they're really from the stars. It's not that they're like humans, it's that we're like them.
I've also seen a few folks mentioning how certain sequences are supposed to only be inherited from the father's side, and are 100% traceable up a paternal lineage. However, it's been found that many of these sequences have appeared in people with no traceable origins. And that's not even the only anomaly.
We share some crazy amount of DNA with Bonobos (98.7%) and Orangutans (97%) so how is it there's no species with 99% or 99.5%? If mutations are what caused this major difference, there should be species with those mutations, yet there are none. I've heard the hypothesis that they simply died out but that too makes no sense, how could an intermediary species die out when the substantive input and output species survived? This isn't how evolution works, only traits that increase survival are passed on. It would literally have to develop a maladaption to its environment AND only within that intermediary species.
Idk about 2027, but something is definitely messed up in our DNA.

Natural disaster could account for the intermediary species disappearing if the population of that species was low or isolated. I do believe we are genetically manipulated however, and possibly the underwater drones are just the tools they sent out to find habitable planets to seed.

This theory makes sense to me but I’m no scientist so I don’t have much to add other than plausible in my eyes! Nice job Op

Nature is extremely fast acting in evolutionary adaptation. Changes can happen in one generation or two. For example, if the deer got very sick from eating a specific mushroom, the deer's future babies are going to avoid that mushroom. There were several different human families, not just Sapiens and Neanderthals. Later they were assimilated because they must have migrated and met other humans. It's the mitochondrial dna from the mother that passes mostly to a baby. The father's dna inherited by a child is almost nothing. Do you know how much of our dna is in common with a plant or an insect? A lot. The 3% dna difference (hipotheticaly) between a Sapiens and a chimp is very likely due to a different experience and environment between the two. I don't like these arguments alleging that there's a dna or blood difference between supposed hybrids or contactees and others. This narrative is too dangerous and makes me think of fascism and abusive monarchies that married between each other.

These theories are also just anti-science, it discounts any part of factual science that it likes.
People so desperately want to be different from the animals and life around us, even willing to think up sci fi nonsense to make it so.
As the highest evolved animals on this planet(from this planet), we should be looking at ways to protect and raise up all the other species around us, because life is probably extremely rare. Yet we’ve made this planet a living hell for other animals, and for humans, in our desperation to feel “special” and the unquenchable human desire to make life as easy as possible. Ugh.

So it would, perhaps, behoove you to read the thoughts about evolution of someone that knew about genetics or human evolution.
For your question about “where are the species with 99% or 99.5% similarity” I’d point you toward Neanderthals for a start, we know for sure we lived at the same time with those guys
Chimps and bonobos are cousins, not steps on the way to a human
To answer your question about how the intermediary species died out, populations were really really really small, which tends toward inbreeding. It’s hard to raise a baby when it takes years just for them to walk. So most non sapiens humans ended up in small fragile bands and humans stuck around by virtue of being a bit more social and having flexible social networks

I think this could also explain why some alien ships crashed. Somebody else was "watching over" things here and didn't want anyone else interfering.

Genetic intervention makes total sense to me. Why are we the only species on the planet that has evolved to a great degree compared to all other species that have basically not evolved to any significance in tens of thousands of years.

I think you misunderstand how evolution works - it's not "only traits that increase survival are passed on", it's "traits that propagate themselves better are passed on". For example, if you had a genetic disorder that killed you the minute you turned 80 with no upside, it would be propagated along at the same rate as those without it because nobody's having kids at 80. Evolution is more about who isn't able to survive as opposed to who IS able to survive. Like, imagine the 99.5% human/gorilla you'd think would exist is alive at the same time as humans. Maybe they require a certain percentage of oxygen in the air because it used to be high enough for us both to exist, but the oxygen in the atmosphere starts being used and they die out over time. Sometimes small DNA changes can make delayed, unlucky impacts later down the line

I don't really understand how this theory makes sense. If humans were planted here from somewhere else why are we SO close in anatomical structures and DNA to the apes who (presumably) evolved here naturally...? Like, we have the same internal organs and everything, that would be a crazy coincidence...
I think if there was genetic manipulation it was not wholesale bringing humans here, but tweaking DNA of the organisms that were here already and/or goes so far back into prehistory that other organisms were similarly manipulated, not just humans.

It's not the seeding of humans, the seeding of DNA, culling when the wrong species developed (dinosaurs) and restarting until it was on track again.
So of course there would be other life here that matches humans.

Not trying to be argumentative, just genuinely curious. I've also been curious about Elizondo's statements, so I'm just trying to see if I can do more research and reading.
Alfred Wallace (Darwin's co-developer of the Theory of Evolution) stated he believed humans evolved too quickly based on when the earth could sustain life, mathematically unlikely.
I can't find where he said this. Do you have a source for this information?
However, it's been found that many of these sequences have appeared in people with no traceable origins. And that's not even the only anomaly.
Do you know which specific sequences abruptly end? For that matter, is there any published or publicly accessible research dealing with this issue?

I can't find where he said this. Do you have a source for this information?
That's because he wrote this in the 1800s. You will find it through the following:
- 1869 review of Charles Lyell’s Principles of Geology
- Also collected in Contributions to the Theory of Natural Selection (1870), specifically the final essay, "The Limits of Natural Selection as Applied to Man".
- You should be able to find some of his points laid out here as well: https://people.wku.edu/charles.smith/wallace/zBuckle1871PopSciRev.pdf#:~:text=In%20other%20words%20it%20is%20im-%20possible%2C,great%20and%20crowning%20act%20of%20creative%20power.'%22
His main argument was basically that natural selection can only develop a structure to the point where it gives an organism an immediate survival advantage. He claimed that hunter-gatherers possessed brain capacity, musical talent, mathematical abstraction and even moral faculties equal to much more advanced people BUT had no immediate survival necessity for them. Because natural selection could not select for latent traits before they were useful, Wallace concluded that human higher consciousness could not have arisen purely by natural selection. Instead, he believed that a higher intelligence or unseen spiritual guidance directed human mental evolution.
Do you know which specific sequences abruptly end? For that matter, is there any published or publicly accessible research dealing with this issue?
It's not that the sequences abruptly end, it's that the lineage cannot be traced appropriately.
This is only one of the studies, there was a more recent one that I didn't save and cannot quickly lookup:

So there difficult truth would be that we’re upgraded Bonobos. Makes a lot of sense to me.
