I live in a small studio apartment that isn’t very aesthetically pleasing. So I went to a dollar store to make a diy content wall for when I’m doing talking face videos or just clips where I’m in front of the cam or maybe even for pics if it goes with the product. Lmk your honest thoughts, I don’t mind changing it up to make it more professional but this is my first attempt. I feel in this shot, it’s a little bare looking but I don’t want a wall that screams and I was planning on having the cam zoomed in more when I film.

So I was paid by this company for 10 videos got my first payment of x amount of money but they have mentioned the campaign is over, I’ll be sending my last few videos and they will pay me the 12 videos I have sent in. It’s been a week and no reply. I’ve been messaging and emailing everyone. I signed a contract don’t know what to do this is the first time this has happened to me.

I want everyone to be aware of a brand, it’s for a book called THE ANCIENT HERBALIST AND HEALER NATURAL REMEDIES.
They reached out to me on SideShift for a paid Collab. They wanted me to create new social media handles and send them my new handles, my personal socials, my email, phone number and address. I communicate with them a few times and it seemed pretty legit. I sent them everything they requested and they completely ghosted me and won’t respond. There is at least half a dozen other people on Facebook that had the same issue with this brand. They stopped responding once they got their personal info too. Obviously I didn’t give him any bank information. I don’t know what exactly they can do with our numbers, but I do know that telemarketers and spammers will pay to get people’s phone numbers and email addresses. It sounds like they are using SideShift and UGC as a way to get people’s addresses and phone numbers So I just want everyone to be aware. I have already reported them to SideShift if you have experienced this with this brand also I suggest you report it to.

Trying to keep it simple and product focused. Would this stop your scroll, or does the opening need more punch? Also curious if the pacing feels too fast.

I’m fairly new to making ugc content and I’m very excited about my journey. My only concern is the large amount of brands that use ai. How can I find more brands with actual products instead of these Ai apps and companies I’ve seen on SideShift?

Today, I'll be telling you about UGC content.

Since day one, we had decided that we would be asking UGC creators to create content for us. It was finalised, but we were waiting for a specific time.

After we had tried posting some posts ourselves, we needed faces for our website, so I searched for UGC creators on Instagram.

We needed UGC creators who could create high-quality content, communicate well, have a good camera, and be available.

So, after finalising everything, I looked for about 10 UGC creators: 5 Pakistani and 5 foreign.

But guess what? At last, we went with creating UGC content ourselves!

Well, what is the best way to reach out to UGC content creators when you don't have a budget? Looking for tips!

I have a full time job and am trying to go back to school and be a full time student. That is why I want to do UGC. My education and work background is in the tech field. I am fluent in English and can consistently give time every day for UGC.

But every opportunity I see is either only for English speaking countries or Europe and if there is any South Asian country included, it is just India.

I have done a lot of research, I have working experience in Marketing and Sales, I understand tech because my degree is engineering and I am not targeting some insane numbers either.

As long as I have consistent work like a couple Canvas UGC projects and can make like 1.5k USD consistently every month, I am happy.

My problem is i do not have a personal social media following. I have worked as a social media handler, managed social media accounts of the place I am working at, etc, but not a personal account and following. So I can't do campaigns where i need to post on my personal account, nor can I show any follower number and viewer demographics (because I have none)

I am working on my portfolio and nothing looks good enough. I didn't have this problem when I was managing social media accounts for the office or for the client, but when it comes to my own, I can't seem to make 1 good video.

Also the lack of opportunities is also really discouraging. I started this because I would see 600USD for 60 videos and I would be like 'I can easily do 2-3 videos a day and make half of the tuition money and expenses if I can land just 1 Canvas UGC project' and not being able to land any has been really rough.

Hi! I’ve been creating UGC for the last couple of months now. I’ve worked with three brands so far for sets of videos (traditional UGC). I am also on one canvas ugc campaign and looking to add another. I’d really prefer to add a language learning app, but am reading such mixed reviews on the different ones available. I am on sideshift and a lot of the language ones seem to be geared toward college age students. I am mid 30s female. Any suggestions?

I've got student loans that have apparently decided we're in a lifelong committed relationship, and frankly, that relationship needs to come to an end!

Hi all! I'm brand new to UGC and work full time in marketing. A brand offered me this via SideShift:
$800/month guaranteed for 60 videos (2/day), posted on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
Quick POV skits, scripts sent weekly, "5 minutes each" to film and edit
Bonuses per video and platform: $50 at 50K views, $100 at 100K, $450 at 500K, $750 at 1M
They say 26 creators passed 50K views in the last 30 days

That's about $13 per video, and I'd start fresh accounts for it, so I'd have no audience yet and bonuses are unlikely early on.

Has anyone done a similar deal? Was it worth the time, or would you pass and focus on single-video brand deals?

I started canvas ugc for a brand through sideshift a few weeks ago. My Instagram and Facebook have been dead, but my TikTok started off well. I need 1000 views to hit the pay threshold. My first 3 videos exceeded that, but since then I’ve been stuck in < 600 view jail.

I did go on a trip of out state for a few days and got a strike saying I was commenting like a “spam account.” I’ve since challenged this and the app says my account has no warnings. Still my posts are not hitting the numbers they did at first. any advice?

Creators, influencers, and everyone else who creates UGC content, I am asking this in all honesty and sincerity:

I run a slew of my own brands in the digital space. These are primarily product brands. And we are now, for the first time, getting aggressively into "UGC and influencer marketing", for lack of a better term.

I do not want to pretend I know what I'm doing, but I do know that getting feedback from actual creators will allow us to find the brightest and the best of the best. It's worked for us in every other niche or program we've ever activated. And what's worked is this: get feedback from top-end talent, make sure that talent can cook, and you end up with beautiful, beautiful results.

So, simply put, for those creators that consider themselves the best of the best, what do you expect out of brands? What makes a brand, any brand, the perfect partner to work with?

I'm going to share this with my entire team and also process it myself so that any program we launch absolutely adhere to this.

I want to get into making UGC content and honestly it is overwhelming to being or where to start, and have heard as someone living in Canada is much harder. I do have experience making videos as I have created my own growing social media page - Car Content page (growing following count, landed 3 collaborations - one of them from Japan, great analytics etc).

I've realized that I love making videos and love to showcase items but would love to start getting brand deals, working with brands and getting paid.

Per email, that works out to:

Y a-t-il suffisamment d’opportunités dans la déco, la maison et les démonstrations de produits ? Ou les marques privilégient-elles les créateurs qui montrent leur visage ?
