Mornin', all!

In a band? Need poster artwork? Tired of sepia-tinged, cluttered AI shite? I have a humble collection of Polaroids you're more than welcome to use for your gig posters, flyers, album artwork, or whatever other DIY thing you're cooking up.

All pics are completely free to use. Just send me a message and I'll send you a 300dpi, printable version of whichever shot takes your fancy. Whack some text on it and you're golden. See the attached image for an example: this is a recent poster for my university's creative writing journal (title unashamedly nicked from Sonic Boom Six).

Have yourselves a gander here (and marvel at my inability to name a photo without stealing punk bands' lyrics): https://www.instagram.com/marty_hol/

If you do decide to use something, a simple credit would be lovely. And if you happen to feel like throwing a few coins into the Czech poverty fund, small donations are very welcome via PayPal: @martyhol (but not at all expected; I know the main reason artists and small businesses are resorting to using AI in the first place is a lack of money).

If you hate 'em: don't use 'em. Simple.

Keep it foolish, yeah?

Hi all, I work with the owners of Smile Bar and Events in Huddersfield. On Saturday 24th October we're celebrating 50 years of punk with one huge live night dedicated to three of the bands that helped define a generation, Sex Pistols, Buzzcocks and The Clash.

Three live tribute acts will be bringing the songs to life (Pistol Whipped, Buzzkocks and Total Clash) to celebrate the songs, attitude and raw energy that made punk impossible to ignore.

Hope to see you there!

If you fancy an evening of folk punk in Bristol tonight, please pop along to Bruhaha in Totterdown. The show is headlined by Dan Goatham (of legendary punk band Snuff and Spoilers amongst others) with Truck and Joyrobber (that's me!) supporting. It's free entry too! Doors are at 7pm. Hope to see you there!

Had clobber on my horizon for a while, gave them a proper listen a week or so back and they’re so much more than I thought. Really solid band, for those that like shouty angry song along hardcore edged punk.
