It amazes me how some immature people think that college is an extension of high school, like it is the
13th grade. It's like you are in college now, act like it, get a life, clown(not the OP, UNLV Enemies)
It happens in the work place too. I was a Captain in the Navy for 20 years and grown Naval officers
who are supposed to be leaders, act like they are still in high school.

Wait till you get into an actual job and people act like they are still in high school. Shit even joining the military some commands have people that act like they are still in high school.

I was a Captain in the Navy for 20 years it is sad I saw NAVAL OFFICERS who are supposed to be mature, act like high school kids. I put a stop to it they were forming cliques like it was high school, I said, "You are supposed to be leaders act like it or you will be removed from your post and replaced." Being part Russian I have no tolerance for this kind of nonsense.

Ya any private school or academy kid is super clicky They are stupid they think because that is how it works in high school, that is how it works in college but that is not true. That is the beauty of college you can be anything LGBTQ_+ black, white whatever, everyone is accepted.

It's like Bowling For Soup's "high school never ends" lol

I agree with you, for immature students high school never ends. For the rest of us, we graduate from HS and move on, that is why I never go to high school reunions. It's like why should I, I graduated from college.

I mean I had a blast at my reunion, but the bulk of my graduating class are all really smart and successful, so it was cool to see everyone doing well. I understand your point, though.

I mean, all in good fun right? As long as it doesn't open up to bullying, why take that much of an issue? My only qualm with these accounts back in high school was when it'd be shit like "[high school]uglies" or when they had "roast" accounts comparing kids to actual school shooters.
I'd take a little obnoxious school spirit any day over everyone being stuffy

It’s usually stuff like this though that leads to bullying. Making fun of people behind their back IS bullying, coming from someone who’s had this happen to them.

There is a lot of bullying here at UNLV. People keep calling me pinche and insist I'm LGBT when I'm a straight tomboy. Hella weird. I guess some people peaked in high school or never developed empathy for others.
