What does Loudoun have to do to get more fans? I’ve heard that everyone still thinks they are a reserve side to DC United, I think they can created a solid culture because loudoun county has almost half a million people and you can draw crowds from Alexandria and Fairfax

It starts with renovating the stadium. Next maybe a new logo of sorts. Bigger issue is they simply aren’t visible in the county to let people know there’s a team in their area.

Yea i can't throw too many stones bc my teams crest is one of the worst in the league, but Loudons is not far from the bottom and I'd like to see them change it.

Whats wrong with the stadium? Seems like a perfectly fine SSS

It’s an okay stadium however the ownership is in talks with the county about getting some funding for renovations there’s also talk of getting some private investors to help as well.

Eh I just feel like the Orange can be emphasized so much more to make us unique.

Get a big name player (or USL as a whole starts getting big names). That's kind of the deal with clubs in major metro centers (Loudoun is a 45 min drive). Residents could just drive to Audi Field to watch Son, Griezmann or Messi

For them to get a big name, they would probably have to get them as a player coach or as a owner player type of thing like drogba, there is little to no incentive to play in lower leagues in the US, so you need to create the incentive for them

I'm just saying that's the reality of setting up a club that's fairly close to a MLS club.

The only other way: You sell tickets and concessions at a ridiculous discount to the MLS club. Basically going to a match would be cheaper than watching a movie at the theater.

Unfortunately with USL office royalties ($1.50 of a sold ticket goes to the league office), that's not a good option.

No totally true, but there’s gotta be people who would be willing to go to local matches, I mean I live near the Riverside proposed stadium site, and I’ve been to a Orange County game, it’s less than an hour from LAFC and LA Galaxy, yet they attract 3-5 thousand people because they have their own identity and they promote like crazy on social media, and I’ve heard that DC area has a really good soccer/football culture

LA is an outlier to me . NYC area should be too, but the USL clubs have a tough time

The thing with LA is the traffic is bad all the time. Weekdays, weekends, holidays. Orange County, Inland Empire and Ventura County are basically separate.citirsn

Better to relocate club to Charlottesville imho
