Epstein had a fascination with physics and medical research. Since UT is a top institution for research, this is unsurprising, frankly.

From the outside looking in, it seems to me that Epstein, for whatever reason, had his hand in every facet of American life. Plus he only dealt with people that could do something for him. From politicians, businessmen, athletes, colleges, actors, etc. But it begs the question, didnât all these people know what type of person he was? Didnât they know he had a private island and that he lured people to the island to molest children? I mean what was it that Epstein was offering that these influential men couldnât get for themselves? Why even be tied to this despicable person?

His private residential island was public knowledge. The illegal stuffs he did were kept quiet between him and only people he absolutely trust to not disclose them. Plenty of people have a criminal history, but that doesn't mean you just ignore those people because of it. Snoop Dog had multiple arrests as a teen, mostly for drug offenses (possession, usage, and trafficking) and thefts. Hell, Martha Stewart has a felony for tax evasion. But Epstein had money, contacts, and influence. Lots of people love connecting with him because he can hook you up to other people he knew.
As for the island, going there doesn't really mean anything, imo. It's all about if you did anything illegal there, and most guests to his island likely never did. Most probably were there to talk business, and then left.

Shit even if someone went there and they didn't do anything bad, they surely saw some stuff right? And then they kept it a complete secret.

Hereâs the hard part because I do think that this line of reasoning tracks, but also i would assume you wouldnât be telling everyone whats popping off on the island. Idk, I think it really underscores the problem with the mega-rich. There is a certain amount of money you can have that just nulls any legal damage that may come your way. If you have 5 billion dollars, modest compared to some of these dudes, you have enough to offer generationally life changing money inconsequentially as a bribe numerous times to anyone. It sews distrust in every system because he can circumnavigate them, he got very unlucky when he finally got nabbed, but how many agents and officers and judges and jury members had been paid off in the decades prior, and ALL these dudes are that rich. Itâs crazy seeing Elon in the files because dude is gonna be a trillionaire, how does someone with that much money ever see anything reflecting justice if convicted of a crime. Even a life sentence isnât close to what any one of us would experience when you could financially secure the entire bloodline of anyone that earns your favor with the same ease as me giving someone 1/3000ths of a penny.

MIT and Harvard should be number one. He was friends with some time travel researchers that are in the files

I was looking through the files that mentioned UT the other day. There is a professor at UT who studies human attraction. His name is David Buss and a bit of his research shows up in the files. This is from website:
"David Buss is one of the founders of the field of evolutionary psychology. His primary research focus is on strategies of human mating. He is most well-known for his studies on mate selection, tactics of mate attraction, infidelity, tactics of mate retention, tactics of mate poaching, and the mating emotions of jealousy, lust, and love. He has taught at Berkeley, Harvard University, the University of Michigan, and the University of Texas.
His recent research focuses on the dark side of human nature, including conflict between the sexes, jealousy, stalking, intimate partner violence, and murder. He also has active research programs on the mating emotions and the psychology of prestige, status, and reputation."
He is a file from the Epstein Library mentioning his research: EFTA01198509
Not the first time that research coming from a UT professor has been used for malice.

I think it's worth clarifying that, just because Buss's name was mentioned by a third party, doesn't mean that he had anything to do with Epstein.

Not really on topic, but when I was in Psychology, one of my TAs was working on her Phd in sexual psychology with Dr. Buss. And she was smoking hot, I felt like I was in some crazy psychology experiment or a bad movie where I'm supposed to believe this super hot model is some scientist (e.g. Denise Richards in Bond movie, The World is not Enough).

Surprised A&M isn't higher up - lots of questions over there.

Seeing the amount of crime and student deaths that occur in Austin Iâm not too surprised he picked UT and not A&M.

Damn, I was praying really hard a few months back that we break back into the top 10; I guess I should have been more specific which top 10 I was asking for

Richard Hanania is the main -formerly- UT-affiliated name that's jumped out to me so far. I wonder, though we may never know, about names among donors.

Weird, lots of left leaning schools? Are we cooked?

u/Mein_kampfort_Zone Feb 05 '26
Not surprised you had to post this dumbass comment from a throwaway account.
We both read the news everyday and it's quite obvious the guilty party here is, rich people, who exploit people like me and you everyday by any means necessary. But you still want to get on here and ask pedantic questions about "left leaning schools," while the right leaning government is openly saying the files do not matter anymore and the "liberal leaning" biden admin didn't release them. What do you think the solution here is? Seems like the issue goes far beyond party politics, you can stay ignorant if you want, but if you want to start asking some real questions maybe look beyond this stupid "left" and "right" shit you think actually exists.

Nearly all of the mentions for Texas is related to medical research articles and papers.
