Academics Studying abroad as a premed

Hi, does anyone have experience studying abroad as a premed student at all? I was strongly considering it but I heard US med schools dont accept premed req classes if they are taken abroad. Thanks!

The Prehealth team is pretty amazing. Their website has a global experience section.

You should ask the PreHealth advisors.

I studied abroad as a premed and it was fine, just don’t take pre reqs when you go. Take other science classes that might be easier to keep up with cause you won’t want to study a lot when you actually get down there.

Did it force you to jam a lot more classes in other semesters or no? Also where did you go, I've been looking for some inspiration for my trip if I go.
