I finished rewatching umbrella academy and I got to the part where everyone was at the park all sunshine and rainbows because the timeline was now one. I was a little confused on why we never got to see Harlan at the park happy, I personally would’ve loved to see that.

I figured you would’ve seen way more people at the little park and it’s fine that we didn’t but we didn’t get to see Sissy. You might say that’s because she was from the past, so why did we see a human grace as a young mother in the present?

If Sissy never met Viktor then she was stuck with her shitty husband that entire time. She never got to rediscover herself and feel seen because she never fell in love with Vanya. Sissy still got cancer and she still died but she died married to her husband. Anyway I think it’s terrible to know that the main characters don’t exist in the universe anymore because they impacted so many lives.

I’d also like to ask if Leanord is still alive? He killed his dad because of the Umbrellas, he would have grown up abused and probably would’ve ended up in jail. Even for the characters we don’t care about they all still had moments that ran the course of their lives because of the umbrellas.

Sissys ending is what got me the most so I think it’s worth mentioning how bad this ending was for everyone involved

WELL- IVE DECIDED TO DO SMTH ABOUT THAT HORRIFIC SEASON FOUR.

when watching season 4 of umbrella academy for the second time now- I NOW REALISE HOW MUCH IT ACTUALLY FELL OFF.

Like for some reason I thought the last season wasn’t that big of a drop in quality - BUT DAMN WHAT OK. (It was actually a shock to see- and revisit THAT )

Like the first season was actually so amazing- everything was perfect, the scene was set, the characters were PEAKING.

Season two was even MORE PEAK - like legit I LOVED THE TIMETRAVEL AND THE LIVES THE HARGREEVES MADE. (I think all season twos are great)

THIRD SEASON WAS HONESTLY NOT BAD, I loved diego and Lila especially in that one- tho I think it left a few too many gaps and plot holes for season four.

and Season four… (let’s not)

So…

I’m currently writing a TUA season 4 rewrite on wattpad- My user is 4ever3m1ly if y’all wanna check it out-

I started rewatching the Umbrella Academy again and it’s made realize why I love the show so much. It makes me so sad that the show ended the way it did, I just get sooooo sad😞. Even though the show ended on 2024, it feels like it’s been years. I miss the anticipation of waiting for a new season and now no show or movie is giving me the same feeling. I’ve even started brainstorming fanfic ideas just so I can have the excuse of rewatching the episodes over and over again. I miss the Hargreeves family and their dysfunctional way of loving each other😫

Good afternoon! I am currently parting with my entire record collection and I still have this Umbrella Academy soundtrack record available. If you’re interested please message me!

The Umbrella Academy 2 - Soundtrack (Black/white split vinyl) $13.99

I just get the reason why No.5 farted (S4 EP3), when he accidentally encountered his parallel self from the world that Vanya destroyed.

Because he in 4th stage of Paradox phychosis. It's jokes from so long time ago that I never thought it would come back, i thought he was just nervous. LMAO

After carefully watching the umbrella academy has anyone yet considered Sir Reginald Hargreaves philosophical view. Well he's kind of a perfectionist at first when raising his kids teaches and forces them to strive farther past their limits. Later in the show in season three he says "We cannot truly understand what we are capable of until we are on the verge of our very own extinction" I think that's powerful. His children after growing up although hated his way of raising them become exquisite at honing their own skills like five who's somewhat of a perfectionist

so, my brother and i have been talking about this for a while (by talking I mean arguing you know normal sibling discussions) and we narrowed it down to five, victor, and Allison but I still think it might be Lila cause she can do anybody’s ability but my brother keeps on saying she can’t master them cause she hasn't have them as long as they have but whatever tell me what you think. please.

Felt like someone should see it other than me so…

Diego literally is doing that shit in every promotional I dare you to check them

Numbers, by Ozzie Andi William.

Numbers help us to keep track of what we’re doing, where we’re at. Start at one and count on then, to what’s most important or interesting.

One is all alone by itself. Like the moon in the sky, a locket forgotten on a shelf.

Two is determined but not quite there. It yearns to be One because it thinks then people will care.

Three seems well rounded with its elegant fashioning. But if you look through the cracks you can see it start unravelling.

Four is messy and doesn’t really know what it’s doing. Although it has a good heart and will give you all of its loving.

Five always seems like a good sensible common ground. But get on its bad side and you’ll end up deathbound.

Six is barely worth mentioning here. Though Four will tell you all about it if you care to lend an ear.

And Seven is lost, alone and afraid. It hates the past but it also doesn’t like all this change.

Numbers help to keep everything in check. But don’t get too attached or you’ll end up a wreck.

Numbers are good for keeping things in line. Even when the world is running out of time.

Numbers can be a most helpful thing. Especially when you need control, order and discipline.

I'm only partway through Season 3, Episode 1, and I had to pause the show because I can't stop thinking about how our original 7 even exist right now.

They are standing in a timeline where the Umbrella Academy was never created. But if they were never adopted as a team, they never cause the apocalypse, meaning they never travel back to the 60s to cross paths with Reginald Hargreeves. And if they never met Reggie in 1963, things wouldn't have changed for the academy in the future... which then i guess the umbrella academy would've still been created..😵‍💫 And this is the loop my brain is stuck in.

Five’s existence is an even bigger question mark. His entire history depends on a very specific post-apocalyptic future and his time with the Commission. If that timeline is gone, the foundation of his whole life shouldn't function. They are all massive, walking causal loops. I'm thinking that glowing vortex growing in the basement/cellar is the physical manifestation of this exact paradox issue catching up to reality.

I am about to continue season 3 I was just curious... Without giving away any spoilers for what happens next, I just want to know: is this timeline paradox satisfyingly wrapped up and explained, or does the logic just get more convoluted and confusing as the season goes on?

I wonder how many more crafts I can do for them.

So we just started season 4, and around season 3 it felt like some of MCR songs became show themes since I think the comics end with season 1 but have a different ending, I’m waiting until we finish to relook and re-read.

But the elaborate. The Ghost of you feels like Klaus and Dave from the Music video it also describes how all the siblings feel during season 3, the kugelblitz taking Stanley and other people. Cancer with Harlan’s mom. Famous Last words with Five in season 1 Apocalypse future. Interested to hear some other songs.

But I am also a Coheed and Amory Wars fan. So for Audio Narration story telling The Afterman also does a pretty fun job but have to stretch and insert a little more.

So the Hollow feel like the kids talking to Grace at the funeral or when Diego decommissioned her when the Commission broke in season 1.

Domino the Destitute, Luther in Season 2 working for Jack Ruby, but the “I implore you brother” feels like Diego and Five during season 2, Luther getting beat up after he finds out about Ray, the “we made our beds” describes Allison, Luther, and Klaus in season 2. Then the “the question fits the question fits the question mark, your signals crossed, your messages lost. Haha!” Sounds like some shit Reggie would have said to Luther when he went to Newyork to meet him.

So in less detail gravity’s union with Klaus playing catch and dodging bus, random reality shift, season 3 diego.

Interested if anyone else had had musical moments like this with the show

So that’s definitely the Rosebud motel from Schitts Creek, right?

“The United States wants a reactor on the moon by 2030. A Russian-Chinese alliance is working on one for 2036. Some leading scientists say the danger is great.”

Moon go boom. Chunks hit earth. Not good.

Not to mention rocket launches of radioactive material using controlled explosion for power.

hellooo! i'm looking for colored contacts that match victor's (vanya) colored contacts in the season 1 finale. has anyone else cosplayed this character before, and if so what contacts did you use? i can't find a good color that's accurate

1. Who exactly were Reginald and Abigail? Where did they come from ?

2. The timeline subway in season 4, why exactly was it a subway? Who made it? Also did anyone notice that the subway is the same as the subway in which ben was born.

3. What was Jennifer's past? How did she come in being?

4. When did five write the book he found in the subway? What was its backstory?

Also, did they all just die by being swallowed? Like seriously? I thought the cleanse would be something deep and meaningful. If anyone has the answers or any conspiracy theories do tell me!

First time watching (no spoilers please!!!), does this mean anything or is it actually an accident I've come across

Edit: "cholocate"

After another rewatch of Season 4, I kept coming back to how much Reginald’s artificial numbering (#1 through #7) misrepresents who the siblings actually became.

When you strip away his military hierarchy, they don't function like numbered soldiers at all. Instead, they feel more like an interconnected web of Shields, Anchors, Hearts, Mirrors, and Catalysts — where even characters outside the original Seven (like Lila and Harlan) fit naturally into the dynamic.

Building on my previous posts about Marigold symmetry and power mechanics, I put together a final wrap-up piece breaking down each character's evolved psychological role and how they function as a family network.

I’m really curious: if you had to assign a single functional "role" (not a power or a number) to your favorite sibling in their final arc, what would it be?

Would love to hear your takes!

Hi! I remember watching this show and seeing a retro/vintage clock in the background of some office or something, I cannot for the life of me remember where or find it again.

Anyone here that please, please can help me?

I remember it being like an asymtetrical starburst shape (I think).

Thank you!
