WaveKraft – Free hybrid wavetable synth (VST3/AU, Mac + Win)
I built a wavetable synth and I'm giving it away free.
1,216 presets across 79 genres
Drag any LFO, envelope or macro straight onto any knob.
- 3 wavetable oscs, dual filters, 8 drawable tempo-synced LFOs
- Import any WAV/AIFF/FLAC as a wavetable
- Arp + chord memory locked to a key
- 12 effects, including two experimental ones: Fracture (tempo-locked glitch/stutter) and Resonator (rings in key with the chord you hold)
- "Generate" button: pick a genre and role and it builds a new preset

This is good. I only spent a few minutes with it but I’ll definitely be using it. One question though, how do I initialize it? Can’t find an Init preset or button anywhere.

Once the plugin is loaded it’s on the init preset, you have to load a preset from the menu and just start playing. Depending on the DAW just make sure it’s a MIDI track and the plugin is on. Every daw is different, what are you using?

Im on Bitwig. It works great so far, im just trying to quickly reset it to a basic init -Single oscillatior, no filter, no effects or routing etc. - to start from scratch. Most synths have an initialize control or a preset already. I’ll just reset everything and save my own. Pretty nice synth though , thank you.

Just save a preset as int, default. Done that with tons of vst over the year's.
