Be safe and predictable out there on your bikes and scooters folks. You're no match for a car or truck in an accident

How about a straight up single vehicle accident? How would the cat fair when Knobby hits a tree?

probably just fine. "cat like reflexes" and "quick as a cat" are expressions for a reason

It would claw his face all up most certainly.

There's that guy who has a terrier in a basket on his bike. That could cause issues if they cross paths!!

"Quick as a cat"?

I have never heard that. I have heard  "cat-like reflexes" tho

Respectfully, this is who I picture every time I get into an argument on this sub.

Add another 30-40 pounds and reduce the amount of time the person spends outside and then that's it.

And a performative cane

Kind of cute but I would never risk my cat's life by doing that. You never know what is going to happen on the road.

Ya I agree. Seems kinda selfish

I see kids riding around on those scooters all the time.

And more and more places are banning them for minors and putting regulations in place because of how bad the aftermath of accidents involving them tend to be

The only wheels my pet is on, is her stroller. Lol. She loves it and she harnessed in

Remember back in the mid 90's seeing a guy riding around with a fully grown iguana on shoulders?

But i dont think it was the 90s. Mid 00s?

A long time ago I had a couple rats and I carried them around on my shoulder. I was on foot though ebikes didn't exist. They'd just chill between my layers and occasionally poke a head out to see what was going on. They were super chill and loved adventuring with me.

Would be dramatic if you and this guy bumped into each other walking around.

Not safe, which is a small detail

The best things rarely are

While I agree with that, cat will be the one harmed. If someone wants to harm themselves, without effecting other living beings, different story,

No, it's not. This isn't safe for a cat, I'm certain it's not relaxed and enjoying this. I'm sure it would rather be somewhere quiet and not used as something to attract attention to its owner. A*s.

Cat and owner living best life! 😺 Mildly concerned for kitty safety but honestly he'll probably die happier being shoulder traffic cat (after a long and happy life).

?? You know this how?

Best? If you truly imagine a best life is this what you see? Honestly. Come on. Poor cat. Poor man.

I understand why you’re a top 1% commenter now 😂

😂 I've experienced the joy of having a cat cruise on my shoulder (on my two feet) and I'm pretty sure the cat enjoyed it too. Cat looked pretty confident and happy here. Who doesn't like showing off their cat like this? And yes safety issues, but noted in my response!

Perhaps I could run my comments past you before I hit send from now on

It's generally not meant that literally when people say that.
