GearGenius: Service Tracker with a health score

App Name: GearGenius

One-Line Description: A car maintenance tracker that gives your car one health score out of 100, a service schedule, and reminders before small jobs turn expensive.

What It Does

- Health score out of 100. Half is your upkeep (what has been serviced, distance since, what is overdue). The rest is the car's age, mileage, make and fuel type. Every factor is shown.

- Service log for oil changes, brakes, tires and the rest, with receipts kept on your phone.

- A schedule built around your car and mileage, with reminders while there is still time to book.

- Fuel log with the real cost per month and per mile.

- Reads fault codes and live sensor values through a Bluetooth LE OBD-II adapter.

- Genie, a built-in AI assistant that already knows your car's age, mileage and what is overdue.

Who It's For: Drivers who are not mechanics and want to know what their car needs next.

Cost:

- Pricing model: Freemium

- Free: one car with the score, service log, schedule, reminders and fuel log. Genie has a daily limit. No ads.

- Pro: $6.99 a month or $56.99 a year in the US (local prices vary), with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan. Adds up to five cars, stronger AI, OBD-II code meanings with repair costs, a resale value range and pre-purchase checks.

- Current promotions: none

Heart Rate Graph - Live BPM via Bluetooth sensor

I’m the independent developer of Heart Rate Graph.

What it does: displays your heart rate on an Android phone during exercise, using an external Bluetooth heart-rate sensor.

Features

• Live BPM graph with coloured training zones.

• Time spent in each zone.

• Landscape display for keeping the graph visible during a workout.

• Save a snapshot of your workout graph.

Who it’s for: people who already own a compatible Bluetooth chest strap or armband and want a focused live display on their phone. The sensor must support the standard Bluetooth LE Heart Rate Service. It does not measure pulse with the phone camera.

Cost and privacy: free, no ads, no account. It works locally, without a server.

Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jorgeva.heartrategraph

The image below shows the live graph and the external-sensor requirement.

This app is intended for exercise and is not a medical device.

Autograph Collection has gone Digital with A List

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi everyone,

I have just launched A List, an Android app designed for those moments when you meet a celebrity but have no paper or pen with you.

You can take or upload a photo, collect their autograph directly on your phone, and record the signing moment to help prove authenticity. It works fully offline when needed, and includes an editor for customising the photo, signature, layout, frame and text.

It is a brand new app, so I would be incredibly grateful if anyone would be willing to try it and share some honest feedback. If you enjoy it, an honest Google Play review would also really help.

You can download it here: A List Download Android

Thanks so much, and please let me know what you think

I got tired of $10/month workout timers, so I built one you pay for once

Hey everyone! I’m a solo developer, and I just released Surge, an interval workout timer for Android.

Why I built it: almost every good workout timer I tried was either full of ads or locked the useful features behind a monthly subscription. Paying every month for a timer felt wrong to me. So Surge is a one-time purchase: you pay once and own it forever. No ads, no account, no subscription, and nothing to unlock later.

What it does:

  • Voice coach: announces each exercise, “halfway”, “last round” and a 3-2-1 countdown, so you never have to look at your phone mid-set.
  • Custom workouts: set work and rest time for every exercise separately, add a warm-up, a cool-down and rest between rounds, and drag to reorder.
  • Ready-made routines: Tabata, HIIT, EMOM, the 7-minute workout, plus Pyramid, Boxing rounds, AMRAP, Plank ladder, stretching and mobility.
  • Progress: a weekly chart, a 12-week calendar, streaks (with “freezes” so one missed day doesn’t reset you), personal bests and achievements.
  • After each workout: rate how hard it was. If a workout feels easy twice in a row, Surge suggests adding a round.
  • Works with the screen locked, fully offline, in 11 languages.
  • Private: your data never leaves your phone. You can export it to a file or a spreadsheet whenever you want.

It’s on Google Play here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=rcom.example.surge_work_time

I’d really love feedback, especially on what’s missing from your workout routine, or anything that feels clunky. I read every comment and I’m actively updating it.

I got tired of complicated gym trackers, so I built one that tracks lifts, progress, and body fat in one place

I've been lifting for a few years, and I've tried a lot of popular workout tracking apps.

Most of them did the basics well, but I kept running into the same frustrations: too many taps to log a set, cluttered interfaces, progress charts that were harder to understand than they needed to be, and having to use separate tools to track how my body was actually changing.

I wanted something simpler. An app that follows my workout instead of making me constantly interact with my phone.

So, as a solo developer, I built Liftora.

Here's what I focused on:

  • Guided workout flow — instead of constantly navigating menus and manually managing everything, you move through your sets in real time, and the app follows your pace. Less tapping, more lifting.
  • Automatic body fat % estimation (US Navy method) — no expensive body composition scale needed. Enter your body measurements, and Liftora automatically estimates your body fat percentage using the US Navy formula, with different measurements for men and women. It's not a clinical measurement, but it gives you another way to monitor changes over time.
  • Body measurement tracking — because the scale doesn't tell the whole story. You might be building muscle and losing fat while your body weight barely changes.
  • Clean, modern UI — no overwhelming dashboards or complicated menus. Just the information you need, when you need it.
  • Progress charts that make sense — see how your strength and training volume change over time without digging through endless statistics.
  • Ready-made workout programs — don't want to spend time building a routine from scratch? Choose a program and start training.
  • Exercise videos and muscle information — see how movements are performed and which muscles they target before adding them to your workout.
  • Post-workout calorie estimates — get an approximate idea of your energy expenditure after each session.

My goal wasn't to build the app with the longest feature list. It was to make the things people actually use during training easier, while bringing strength tracking and body composition monitoring together.

Track your lifts. Understand your progress. See how your body changes. All in one place.

Try Liftora:

I've been using Liftora for my own workouts, but I'd really like to hear from people who aren't me.

What's the one thing that frustrates you most about your current workout tracking app?

And if you try Liftora, I'd genuinely appreciate your feedback — especially on the guided workout flow and body fat calculator.

I'm building this independently, so feedback directly influences what I improve next.
