General Discussion I've heard "accusations" regarding the new Melt remix

This is a topic I've discussed on this sub before. People are saying that A. the views are botted or farmed with ads or something like that and B. It used RVC (generative AI)(the video apparently credits the person who helped tune/edit the vocals). The reason I want to bring this to light is because I love CPK and ryo and supercell and would like clarification regarding whether any of them are guilty of anything unethical. I am not posting this to pile on any of them, I just want to hear your thoughts.

RVC was not used. That would have ruined ryo’s relationship with crypton permanently. He likely just used her V6.

I don’t personally believe that they used RVC but mikus voice still does sound a bit off to me. The depth and clearness of her voice feels just slightly a bit off from all of the Miku v6 I’ve heard so far. But I’m still waiting for my physical edition of her to arrive to test out her parameters so I could just be completely wrong.

I do think it is Miku but there’s always the chance that she might be layered with another voicebank like from synth v. It’s something I’ve seen happen before and pretty much always with synth v (I’ve seen Mai used the most in these cases)

Look, so far as i can tell. There never was any actual grounds to this. People just decided it ‘SOUNDS like it could be AI’.

When Epic did indeed make a shit ton of the images across the island of the new fortnite chapter AI generated, people ‘KNEW’ the Marty McFly spray was AI too, and for what, it looked very slightly Gibli-ISH. The believing it without any actual proof imo was equally as stupid from the start as Epic going in on AI.

So no one can DISPROVE AI was used? Ok sure. But I don’t hear it. Ya can’t prove it. And again, it being in a movie, and more relevantly- its RYO, so WHY would one such as him NEED to use AI just to remake something he already made, tuned before and can do it again, all doesn’t seem to give the assumption too much leeway.

Like, for all we know, he coulda just had early access to V6, and we dont yet KNOW fully what it’s capable of- i mean vocaPs have ALWAYS made the voice sound distinct to themselves, its not new.

I'm also wondering if the money from the supercell remixes goes to supercell or to the people who made Cosmic Princess Kaguya

there were apparently sudden spikes in views and a low like/comment ratio for how many views there are, idk

I thought I heard there were mixed feelings on the CPK remixes so maybe it’s just because a significant portion of viewers didn’t like it?
