Current Student Question Do grad classes follow the same break/vacation patterns as undergrad classes?

So for example, undergrad C and D term classes have a one week break in between them. For a semester-long grad class, would this also apply, or would I still have to do work during that period of time

kind of. while there are technically no classes, I have longer projects to work on that are due week after break.

It depends on the professor honestly. I had ones that took the break, ones that put up a long term assignment over break, and ones that completely ignored the break

For what it's worth all the grad classes I've taken (2 last year, and 2 that are on break now) have treated the break is a full break, e.g no assignments over break. This is in the CS department.

+1 when I did a CS masters the break was treated as a break
