Still happy.

Sure, it's easy to think I should have sold 30 Jan at USD 121 and buy back now at 55, but I don't pretend to time the market. I legitimately thought Ag would be over 200 this year (and I still think that is undervalued and would struggle to part with it).

The balloons last year were great fun. Hopefully they return soon (above 121), but still happy regardless.

Cue ' I'm not leaving Wolf of Wall Street gif ha' For better or for worse.

If you need money, just sell.

Nobody was buying at that price anyways. It was a temporary blip. Foreshadowing if you will.

At $121 I wasn’t jumping at op to sell my precious. Sure - maybe we could’ve sold off a portion with the potential backslide to sub 50’s to double our position and held onto the rest for inevitable moon shot, but holding metal imho is peak … period. The regret selling at $120 with metals moving up would’ve been too much to chase. We would be posting a very different opinion piece. “Still Coping.”

It will go back up. The gov has to begin to QE again to bring the interest rates down.

Tu aguanta, yo tomé en $110 y hubo una subida un fin de semana y aproveché a vender todo, me quedó otra inversión igual de grande en otro broker y esperaré sin prisas a Diciembre o en 2027, tu tranquilo relajado

Thanks for your comment. Just happy to have Ag. I really value it. Plus mining is only becoming more challenging (unless Musk discovers gold or silver asteroids and economically and environmentally friendly mining methods).

This year, will start to run again. If not early next

Probably better for us if the run happens after the annual January etf rebalancing which was said to have been a large tool for making the great silver smash of 2025 possible

Timing the market isn't a thing. I feel that for the minority of traders that saw the price going up steeply and had a rule about selling, that's reasonable. However, from my perspective, the fundamentals haven't change.

It would have been nice to sell at 120, and buy back at 50, but it wasn't within my sell criteria so no regrets.

I was on the verge of selling a big portion around 120 USD, but then I went to this subreddit and convinced myself it could actually go higher. What a fool I was lmao.

Ur not alone!! It was an exciting time and very difficult to call the top at that moment, silver was going up for weeks at that point.

Trying to time any market is fucking stupid, let alone a fully manipulated market. DCA is the only strategy worth implementing for anyone who is actually serious about taking a strong metals position and defending that position.

Trying to time anything will get you overrun and slaughtered.

True. DCA feels terrible when you're catching a falling knife each month, but it's better than what having been right about the play but wrong about the timing would feel like

You only catch falling knives when you’re attempting to time the market. It is literally a hallmark of timing the market.

DCA is: I’m accumulating this no matter the price or season or headlines, on a set schedule with a set budget. It removes emotion and anyone’s attempt at intuition from the equation. You don’t have to time anything because you actually believe in what you’re accumulating.

IMO it’s just good that the market caught your attention! Now you can be on the metals train for the rest of your life, for better or worse they will float around til your dying day!

What major government isn't on the road of debt. I'm not sure of what lies between here and our destination, there'll likely be twists and turns, hills and valleys, but the destination is almost certainly higher precious metals prices.

Buckle up and be patient if you can afford it!

I spent like 22,000 Canadian on 200 oz between the peak and when it went to bit lower in February.. I’m down like 50%. It’s so bad I can’t even fathom it but what am I gonna do? I have to just hold out.
