Discussion (No Spoiler) Who would Runningwind talk to at Gatherings?
Okay, I'm writing a fic and it includes Runningwind going to a gathering and talking to cats form other clans, but in canon we never see him interact with cats in the other clans at gatherings, so who do you guys think Runningwind would be friends with or talk to?

Other Random diesase in my fanfic :P
This is mainly just for me to remember but yeahhh
Only affects the victim during the night, they're perfectly fine in the day.
Symptoms - coughing, sore stomach, feeling like one of ur body parts has been severely wounded when its perfectly fine
If not treated properly, it will slowly kill the victim. (Reasons unknown, they just kinda go bleh im dead)
Treatment - even if they say that theyre fine in the day, they must still rest. There's no known cure at the moment.
Cause - if this one plant, the Killer Leaf, touches your mouth, eyes, wounds, it infects you. It has sharp thorns that scratch its victim, making a wound to infect.
Random thing - first victim was a kit, so everyone thought they were just attentionseeking because they were fine during the day. rest in peace grapekit :(
That's all for now !!
YES, I KNOW I SPELT DISEASE WRONG IM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS

Discussion (No Spoiler) Warrior cats naming illnesses:
Random cat: What should we name this sickness where you cough a lot?
Other random cat: ... Whitecough.
Random cat: ... Why?
Other random cat: Because you cough.
Random cat: And the white?
Other random cat: Um... You get it in leaf-bare. And in leaf-bare it snows. And snow is white.
Random cat: ... Fine. And the more severe form only treated by catmint?
Other random cat: Greencough.
Random cat: ... Again, why? Do you get it in green-leaf?
Other random cat: No.
Random cat: ... So why?
Other random cat: ... Catmint is part green.
Random cat: Whatever. How about the most severe version of this illness that is almost always fatal?
Other random cat: Blackcough.
Random cat: WHY????
Other random cat: ... I like the color black?
Random cat: Oh great StarClan...
Other random cat: Anyways, next one!
Random cat: Fine, fine. How about this coughing illness where you cough up blood and is for some reason cured by this tree sap?
Other random cat: Redcough!
Random cat: Ok, that actually makes sense. Now the version that is cured by lungwort?
Other random cat: Yellowcough, obviously.
Random cat: HOW IS THAT OBVIOUS?
Other random cat: ...
Random cat: Oh I give up. Now this illness that kittens get?
Other random cat: Kitten-cough.
Random cat: ... Fine. And this one given by rats, with severe coughing and trouble with breathing?
Other random cat: Carrion-place disease.
Random cat: Oh, NOW we can stop calling everything cough?
Other random cat: ... Yes.
Random cat: I give up trying to understand your reasoning.
(Sorry it's so long.)

Discussion (Spoiler) I want a Princess novella.
This is my number one wanted Warriors piece of media. I know it probably wouldn’t be TOO interesting, but I really wanna know how Princess’s life continued after Firestar left the forest. We know she thinks about him often and misses him, but what else is there! Does she interact with WarriorClan like Smudge does? Would she somehow end up in StarClan as the mother and sister of great warriors? Does Firestar somehow visit her in dreams? I want to see it!

Discussion (Spoiler) Help me make my friend confused
For context, I’m 16 and she’s 17. We’ve been friends for a while. She isn’t into reading much. She asked me to tell her a random spoiler for Warrior Cats she won’t understand. She only knows the first four Clans, Firestar and Graypaw, and the Dark Forest. She doesn’t know StarClan or any other characters. I don’t mind the spoilers btw, I’ve already been spoiled everything and I’m on Thunder.
EDIT: Real spoilers please, there’s no point in making stuff up because she’ll never read it

Discussion (Spoiler) I compiled the books that the original three Erin Hunters wrote (during Vicky’s era as “showrunner”), and decided to do a bit on opinionated analysis.
Cherith Baldry has the most books written, and I was surprised to learn that she wrote all of the books that centered heavily around the Tribe of Rushing Water, those being Moonrise, Outcast, Sign of the Moon, and technically The Sun Trail. She also is the primary writer of the two SkyClan centric books, Firestar’s Quest and SkyClan’s Destiny, as well as the Sol focused entries Long Shadows and The Forgotten Warrior.
Cherith has written more arc finales than Kate Cary, having written The Darkest Hour, Senset, and Sunrise. Her quality seems to be (imo) the most inconsistent of the group, having written the legendary Forest of Secrets and The Darkest Hour, and personal favorites of mine like Midnight, The Blazing Star, Twilight, The Forgotten Warrior, and Firestar’s Quest. But on the other hand she wrote Outcast, Sign of the Moon, Thunder Rising, SkyClan’s Destiny, and Bramblestar’s Storm, the latter of which being home to possibly the most infamous continuity error in the series, with Graystripe claiming Mistyfoot and Stonefur as his kits.
Kate Cary has written some of the most beloved books in the series. Dawn, The First Battle, Bluestar’s Prophecy, Crookedstar’s Promise, and Into the Wild, but she’s also the writer of the rather negatively received Dark River, and the (in my fandom experience) controversial Path of Stars, The Last Hope, and Eclipse. She also wrote Fire and Ice and Rising Storm, the two books of TPB I hear slightly less praise for compared to the other entries that are still nonetheless great. Overall Kate seems to be more consistent than Cherith, with some untoppable highs, but less dramatic entries as a whole.
Vicky obviously played a major hand in writing ALL of the main series up until Pinestar’s Choice, but her main solo outings are the novellas, which are… interesting. They’re truly a mixed bag and it seems like she used these books to experiment with ideas that may have been too out there for the main series or she wasn’t able to fit into the main arcs.
The early novellas give alternate perspectives to events we already know about like Cloudstar’s Journey, Tigerclaw’s Fury, Hollyleaf’s Story, and Mistystar’s Omen. Then you’ve got Dovewing’s Silence, which acts as a kind of epilogue to Omen of the Stars. Leafpool’s Wish is a gap filler between The New Prophecy and The Power of Three. I know this one isn’t super popular, but I like it well enough.
Then there’s the… interesting trilogy of Goosefeather’s Curse, Pinestar’s Choice, and Spottedleaf’s Heart [shudder]. All three of these largely take place concurrent with Bluestar’s prophecy, to mixed results. Pinestar’s Choice was Vicky’s last Warriors book, and you can kinda tell, since there’s not really much there, at least not that I can remember. Goosefeather’s Curse is interesting an tragic, but in my opinion makes Goosefeather more confusing of a character than less. Then you’ve got the infamous Spottedleaf’s Heart. I don’t wanna even dignify this one with an explanation. It’s practically non canon since it contradicts the main series and Bluestar’s Prophecy, in addition to being really creepy and bad.
The novellas Vicky wrote that hit like a truck are two books that gave fans what they’ve wanted for years. A beginning to Mapleshade’s story, and an ending to Ravenpaw’s. Mapleshade’s Vengeance is a bloodsoaked tragedy. Ravenpaw’s Farewell is a goodbye to one of the most beloved and underutilized characters in the series. It’s hard to put into words how good Mapleshade’s Vengeance is. It’s just so different. It’s by far the darkest Warriors has ever gotten and genuinely haunted me the first time I read it all those years ago. Once I finished it the first time, I remember I immediately rewound my kindle to read it again.
Ravenpaw’s Farewell is quite different as well. I only actually read it once or twice, but I’m planning to reread it again, since I remember adoring it.
MV and RF are what the novellas should’ve always been. Backstories and conclusions too small for Super Editions and too disconnected for the main arcs. I’d kill for a book on Princess and Smudge to let us know how their stories ended. I’d want them to be written by Vicky though, and despite her returning for the brief Tigerclaw chapter in the deluxe hardcover of Into the Wild, I couldn’t see her writing full novellas again.

Discussion (No Spoiler) Do you have anything (entirely non-warriors related) that seem to consistently remind you of warriors?
I bought this gorgeous art print in a charity shop recently, every time I look at it, it makes me think of Bramblepaw and Tawnypaw. I adore it, and as you’ve probably guessed, I mostly just wanted to share it. (Sorry on behalf of the glare, there isn’t much light in my office during the evenings.)
Thankfully I managed to find the artist: Lesley Anne Ivory, a British painter who seems to paint a lot of cats!
But it got me thinking - this has happened a few times to me now, be it that cat on the street that looks a little too orange, or that tiny keychain on a friend’s handbag that looks like it’s just begging to take over Shadowclan, my brain keeps trying to find ways to incorporate the book series that I so love into my physical life. My guess would be that it’s a form of escapism from the otherwise dreary world that we live in.
So I ask (an albeit oddly specific question), what small tidbits or furry friends around your daily life seem to remind you of warriors, and bring a smile to your face?

Other Does anyone know the artist of this family tree?
I found this picture of a warrior cats family tree saved on my phone. I love the art and am so curious to see the whole tree... But don't know who drew it, and reverse image search isn't helping.
Do any warrior cats fans recognize this artist or picture?

I'm so sorry if this isn't allowed, but I wasn't sure where to post or look. Does anyone know where people trade these blind box items? Or if anyone would like to trade the large blind box plushies, I have an extra Tigerstar and would just like anyone else lol
