Stupid patriots fans.

Edit: my bad, I just assumed this was my Seahawks subreddit. I still stand by what I said.

He's just a guy having a good time at a bar with friends watching a game. Don't hate on people cuz of the team they like.

American sports, man. That's just how it is. They'll talk mad shit and then buy them a beer at half time, then go back at it. It's not hating on people, it's just all in good fun. Those guys at the bar are talking shit.

And with his edit, the proper response is : Stupid Seahawks fans.

To be fair that's sports fans nearly everywhere around the world except hooligan soccer fans in England and Germany who will beat the fucking shit out of each other (which is good because it makes them take a break from beating the shit out of minority groups)

u/PC509 Sep 11 '26

Yea, good call. Most sports fans everywhere.

They're all in it for good fun, love the game, but go die hard on their team.

It’s my right and my duty.

It’s all in good fun. Chill out lol.

I wanted to start a band called The Family Feud High Five Fails because of the frequency and hilarity of how often it happens on that show

25

u/BIT-TE-69 Sep 10 '26

Not a bad as having it broadcast all over the internet probably

3

u/AdministrativeGur940 Sep 11 '26

It's a Patriots thing insert Tom Brady left hanging meme

24

u/Pixoholic Sep 10 '26

It's much much better than a kick in the balls

5

u/Sleipnirs Sep 10 '26

I also prefer my balls to be left hanging.

TBF you should really be all in for a high five. Motivating the intended recipient to scream even louder than you. My High Fives are for Good Times!!!! OOOOWWWWWW!!!!! If your hand isn't on fire after contact, it wasn't meant to be. Motivate your fellow man!

He played it fairly smooth all Things considered

That look of defeat was tough to watch

10

u/Over-Revenue-5028 Sep 10 '26

Self high 5 ... Is Acceptable

36

u/dabking24 Sep 10 '26

I will grab somebodies hand and high five my other hand. I refuse to be left hanging.

24

u/dudenamedfella Sep 10 '26

I will always high five someone who’s left hanging

5

u/AdministrativeSky697 Sep 10 '26

As a Seahawks fan, this made me smile just a bit on a less than ideal night!

u/No_Ninja_4933 Sep 10 '26

u/TomatoSilly1683 Sep 10 '26

3

u/M1ck3yB1u Sep 10 '26

It’s the going for it a second time that really hurts.

8

u/screaming_pope70 Sep 10 '26

wow awkward, good thing it didn’t end up on Reddit or anything yikes that would totally suck

5

u/aa73786 Sep 10 '26

The look at the end. Dude will never live this down 😞

44

u/Sigma-Wolves Sep 10 '26

At least no one saw it

8

u/lambofgun Sep 10 '26 edited Sep 10 '26

its beyond embarrassing when it happens. like, the vulnerability it takes, and to be denied such basic social participation. fuck lol

edit: typo

3

u/Millkstake Sep 10 '26

I actually call it out when that happens to me lol

25

u/Xanduzinha Sep 10 '26

He gonna remember this in the shower for years to come, and try to shout it out of his head everytime

6

u/john4844 Sep 10 '26
